    3:38 The OP (18) also has to be further from the center line than the OH (7) who went from front right to receive on the left side.

      absolutely, this has to be the most common positional fault when setter is in 4. Don't know why the video doesn't mention it.

    can a setter jump set in the attack row if he is in back row?

    situation: The center back player had a hand on the floor clearly in front of the feet of his front row player
    at the time the ball was contacted for service. He/she had both feet behind the front foot of the center
    front player.
    question: How many points do the receiving team receive or is this a legal position for the receiving team?

    a back row setter jump sets in the front zone and hit above the white band of the net by a front row player. . ..is there a fault?

      Nope. Only if the setter jumps above the net, contacts the ball, and the ball goes over the net without anyone else on the same team touching the ball first.
