I lived in Alpharetta with my parents and moved to MO to attend nursing school. I truly miss it! Homes and apartments became extremely expensive to afford over the past few years and literally everyone is moving there because it's a great place to live. Big companies that headquartered there and Avalon itself made Alpharetta very expensive to be honest.

Yes, I agree that Alpharetta has gotten very pricey and it is a great place to live. Thank you for watching!

I lived in Alpharetta from 2004 to 2020. This is absolutely true. I loved Alpharetta but when it came time to buy a house, I had to go much farther north. I still go to Alpharetta to shop and eat🤣

Outside of traffic and home prices, it is an awesome city. The Alpharetta DDS office needs people who know what they are doing. We moved here from north of Detroit and love the city.

It was fun watching this video. We recognized every place you covered and drove past Wills Park today to attend Easter services. We saw the road we were on today in your drone shot. Later it looked like you were filming and walking down Canton Street where all the townhouses are. Avalon is very nice and sometimes I ride my bicycle there. There are a lot of really nice bike paths and parks here. I like the bike path just off Thompson Street. Providence Park is about 6 minutes from downtown Alpharetta. There's a nice lake there and hiking trails where you can walk your dog.

Slightly inaccurate info about Windward. Windward does not have swim tennis included. Windward Lake Club is a privately owned business that requires a membership that is located around all of the subdivisions. People within and outside of Windward can be members. So it is not actually a part of the neighborhood and is not part of your HOA. There’s a lot of people who buy in and then find later that it’s separate. Many people said their realtors told them wrong info and didn’t get the swim tennis they were expecting.

Very true. When we moved there in 2016 it was $800 just to get registered... and $300/month

@@MovingtoGeorgia Look at the History of the City of Cumming, beware of the City of Cumming. Forsyth County is a good safe place with a great police force.

5 bed in Alpharetta cost $500k minimum. Only thing you can get for $300k is a condo built before the 2000s
