Absolutely stealing this to include it in my homebrew world that I’ll probably never play with my friends. Also, this way it would make sense for them to ring a bell after completing their mission as a signature card or something. I love it!

I love this idea, but also, it kinda goes against the ultra-wholesome, always encouraging vibe they have. Like, unless they just faked their annoyance I think it'd take something way too "edgy" before they stopped telling each other that their drawings were all great and amazing.

So in my Indigenous language the word for a house cat is "gaazhagehns" which comes from the verb "to be greedy or gluttonous" so our name for kitties is literally "little greedy eating ones"

“There’s more than one Jacob” is well-established Drawfee lore. Sometimes, there are four Jacobs drawing on one canvas. Sometimes four artists are drawing all Jacobs. The limit does not exist.
And then there is the Jacob who's a bad boy, as opposed to the Jacob that's just bad (affectionate).
Just as much as I want everyone to draw themselves as Nathan, I would like everyone to draw a Jacob

@@toericabaker the comment probably just meant that it’s nice that the drawfee crew has different styles, and it just happened that Nathan and Jacob have more cutesy styles than Karina and Julia, they just didn’t write all the names. Actually, if this was intentionally gendered that doesn’t fit, usually softness and cuteness is associated with femininity and sharpness with masculinity.

Karina is me whenever I get to play dnd,, I’m perpetually a newbie because I Cannot Retain Information
My cat Delphi was a rescue. She's the kindest, stupidest creature I've ever known.
She kneads your lap HARD when she's happy, which would probably hurt like hell if her previous owners hadn't gotten her front paws declawed (which I would never do). She purrs so loud you can hear it across the room. She plays fetch with nuts that fall onto our porch. She doesn't know how to hiss, so instead she just makes this weird little chittering noise when she sees the red light of the laser pointer.
She always wants to be in the same room as you. Trying to keep her out of the room will lead to wailing. She sleeps on suitcases and backpacks because she connects them with people leaving. She stands on the porch and screams at you for abandoning her for a million billion years whenever you get back from work. She tries to escape on a regular basis, but then gets lost in the yard and needs to be carried back inside. She climbs up to high places and then gets stuck there.
You can't leave donuts and pizza crusts unattended because she'll eat them because she's an idiot. She likes to be carried around like a baby and will cry if you try to set her down. She likes to be pat on the sides. She likes to be pet backward. She'll shove her face against your hand violently if she thinks you're not scritching hard enough. She has no sense of balance when pet, and will fall off furniture.
She's a dumbass. But she's mine, and I love her more than almost anything. And I'd have never found her if it weren't for that shelter. She'd have probably died on the streets, if it weren't for that shelter.
Thanks for making this video. It means a lot. I wish everyone luck in finding their own Delphis (although I'm afraid to say you can't have mine. She's not going anywhere.)

I really love the idea of using your audience to help this shelter. It's so wholesome and good. I'd love to see Drawfee make more partnered episodes for good causes, or even just more aiding animal shelters like this one.

To be fair, it's *more* responsible to be self-aware that you cant handle a pet, than to take one in and abandon it after it gets attached.
In my head cannon anytime Karina’s Blind Rogue Assassin cats do a hit, they leave behind a little cat bell on the victim as a calling card.
The fact that they all know Karina's neopets (and have favorites) made me raise my standards for all future friendships.
Do a “make up work,” episode where everyone draws challenges and prompts that they missed or hosted! 😘

Hi! Julia is actually correct about "Wendy's" and "enemy" being a slant rhyme. As long as it shares a similar phoneme (consonant or assonant) in its final syllable, slant rhyme! Since the share the long "e" vowel sound, that's an assonant slant rhyme!

Julia wins at D&D, "combat is roleplay" is a great unspoken TTRPG rule. It's so much more fun imo when players take a "what would my character do even if it's incredibly stupid" approach rather than a "what is the most perfectly tactically optimal thing to do..."
Rescue animals with backstories of variable magnitudes of trauma, diverse personalities that developed from their experience, and wholesome quirks that result from their rehabilitation?
I'm using Pet PCs for my next Campaign now.
Speed Draw: everyone gets the same randomly generated character prompts and interprets it into their own unique character.

I love that you're promoting shelters! My dog is a rescue- he chose me by licking my shoe when we went to see him (he and his sister were born in the shelter from a rescues mother!). We've been best friends ever since.

My roommate found my cat in her boyfriend's mom's backyard. She was the runt of the litter and clearly sick. And she is so good. Highly recommend finding your own trash cat outside, it's the best

My stepdad, whom hates pets and would never let anyone have one, found two stray cats outside. He brought them inside, fed them, took care of them, and tried to let them go once they were better. And they refused to leave.
Now he adores his two sweet kitties.
My brother found a terrified kitten hiding from the rain under the house.
After a long slow process of trust building, 2 years later hes the cuddliest lil creature we've ever encountered and is a treasured part of the family.

I love the line art in Nathan’s final render, I don’t usually notice that kind of stuff, but the variety in line thickness makes it so fun looking and emphasizes the sort of chaotic nature of the character. Such a fun idea for an episode!

My family was heavily involved with a breed rescue program when I was a kid, and my heart is so full, this is such a wonderful episode concept! We always had foster dogs around, some of my most favorite dogs I’ve ever met have been fosters.
I’m not even done yet but I would already die for Lumps-and-Bumps and the two blind cats (who’s names I already forgot)

I want to use Karina's characters in my upcoming campaign so badly. They're gorgeous and I'm in love.
My cat is 10 yrs old but I adopted her when she was a few months old, and still a kitten. She was rescue that was originally named Lucky. They gave her that name because she was found in a snow bank when shew as only 6 weeks old. The thing is that this was a Wisconsin winter that had a blizzard and we had record breaking snowfall. So it was lucky that she was still alive and found before she froze.
Bad news was that I had previously had cats (at different times of life) named Loki and Luna. So I had the "grandparents dilemma" where they go through several names before hitting the correct one. So I decided to change her name but keep to luck theme. So I used a D'n'D/Forgotten Realms goddess of luck for a name and choose to name her Tyche.
We need another "Jacob gets razzed" compilation after that pitty bit.
Challenge idea:
Nathan draws a monster
Jacob draws dark souls/monster hunter armor based on the monster
Karina draws Anime character based on armor
Julia draws eldritch horror based on anime character
Of course, subject and people can be switched, but it would be cool to see the evolution of the design.
Suggestion: Draw drawfee fanart. Revisit some of your farvorite characters from your fellow drawfee hosts.

I get the feeling that most of the damage is from the two rogues, the paladin spends most of his time protecting the kid, and the artificer occasionally does something incredibly useful but just as often knocks himself out during combat.
Peanut is actually a bard, who's art is being cute as all hek, and they specialize in enchantment, charm person/friendship/etc

Here’s a suggestion! I would love to see a speed draw type episode where one artist makes a whole drawing of whatever they felt like, they send that to the next artist who crops a small section out of the drawing and then makes an entirely new drawing incorporating that cropped section without changing it. In traditional medium you’d use a sticky note, draw over it, then remove the sticky note and put it on a new canvas.

Not entirely related, but I figure y'all would appreciate some monster race cuteness. My DM had us meet a gnoll-bugbear couple and their kids that were a combination of the two, a "gnollbear" toddler and a baby, described as looking barely distinguishable from teddy bears. One of the people in my party ask for the child's name, the DM reads off the written answer, and then _completely loses it_ in the voice chat. As we're sitting there, trying to piece together what just happened, the DM finally gets a breath in, and through the voice call comes the softest of wheeze amidst delighted giggling:
_"I should've named him Stephen."_
I adopted my two kittens from a local non-profit shelter. Best decision of my life, their names are Kiki and Akira, they're bright orange tabbies and they miss an eye each, I call them my one-eyed bandits!
I like to imagine the blind cats spend most of the campaign downtime trying to corrupt Peanut and Valentine is constantly doing a Buttons/Mindy routine trying not to lose track of them.
This is now day 6: Artists give Karina horror movie titles and its summary, and she draws a poster cover.

Drawfee, I’m not involved with Ruff Start Rescue in Minnesota, but that’s my personal rescue recommendation

I was like Nathan as a kid. Why would I want to take care of a dog when I have so many friends with great dogs I can play with. Then when the funs over you go home. Kind of like being an uncle.
This was wonderful! Also, Jacob, I got your Margaret Atwood reference. As a Canadian, a lot of us are very aware of her. She's a Canadian icon! She lives in Toronto. She's very cool! Bit of trivia, when Rob Ford was Mayor, he tried to shut down a bunch of libraries. She went wits to wits against him. It's no surprise that she won and the libraries stayed!
I wish I could adopt another pet. T_T I went and donated to Paws, Awes, and Claws instead.
This video makes me feel very happy, me and my family started fostering kittens a week ago and sadly lost the two youngest today. Seeing support for foster animals is just really close to me
I have also had a couple of cats adopted on a whim in my childhood. One, Josh, was left behind by their previous owners and hurt in a barn fire before showing up at my house and the other, Purr, was a wild cat that just showed up while we were grilling and stuck around.

I love this video. Valentine is my niece. She now goes by Ripley Ellen, and is DNA’d as 100% American Pit Bull terrier box puppy. She was purchased by a sweet boy with his pocket $, seeing she was totally emancipated. He surrendered her to PAC and we swooped her up. She is a blessing and smiles all the time.
Last month I came across a rabbit needing a home, so I made an impulsive decision and did some fast research. Now the rabbit lives with me, and turns out that I'm a rabbit person in the way that someone might be a dog or cat person.
The best part about this ep is the pets. The second best part is the drawlings. The third is that I got a Wendy's ad. 😂
