What amazes me is the fact that Stormbreaker was able to withstand the power of the Infinity gauntlet and actually slice it's way through the beam and critically injure Thanos at the same time.
I believe it’s made of the same material as the gauntlet. That would explain it.

yea cause he was hella angry. peter did that same dumb as fck thing by punching thanos in the face with a fcking blaster when he coulda blasted the shit outta him. what i dont understand even more is that iron man can just use the nanobots to create a sharp blade and just cut thanos's head off. but all these possibilities are rendered useless by doctor strange's there is only one way. i wish they didnt make thanos so vulnerable in those scenes, sorta showed how dumb the characters were.
