Please show EACH little step. I could not figure out how to lift the whole scanner unit to get to the ink nozzles. I spent hours of research before I figured out just lift at the side handles and the whole thing comes up. Taking out the ink cartridges was not to hard but I had difficulty putting them back in. (So worried about breaking something) Explaining this step would be very helpful. Thanks for the video, I could not have done the cleaning without it and would have had to take it into a repair shop.
Will this work for sublimation ink as well, I’m getting a good print head test but I still have some light horizontal lines throughout my prints. I’m using an Epson 15000 converter with sublimation ink
Yes, I am putting out a video specifically for the 15000 in a few days. You will want to use the instructions in that video. Subscribe to stay updated.
@@zoeywright1893 Zoey, do not give up. I watched a video by Jennifer Maker who also shows how to unclog but more in depth. It takes several days to get the clogs undone. You have to let the printers rest in between the nozzle checks. I just ordered all the cleaning pieces to do this and it will be my turn to try! I appreciate everyone putting their 2 cents in the different videos. My Epson printer is only a year old and stupid me turned off the colors and that is how they got clogged/dried out. Once you get the printer going, I read do a color page once a week to keep them from clogging again.

Maybe on eBay but consider doing several cleanings. Sometimes that ends up working.
Do you know what type of print head I need for Epson ecotank 16600

I have 16600 sublimation printer I’m having problems with it it doesn’t print black
Do you need to empty out the old ink? If so how? You say use new ink. Help!!!
You can refill and mix old ink with the new, no problem.
I read something by a guy who fixes printers, you MUST do a color page at least once a week so the colors do not clog.
Thats a great tip!
Cannot replace ink cartridges or find how to replace cartridges on Epson ET-5850
Thank you for this video.
My pleasure!
Learned a lot, tnx!
