    If those are real bench press reps, then Raygun’s breakdancing is real breakdancing.

    Can’t lie, the judging is ridiculous.

      Nothing about the judging in this video seems off, especially if you're talking about elbow depth.

    Time for a bunch of ppl who don’t know anything about powerlifting to comment “not a single rep done” because they’re jealous of the 150lb guy who can bench 2 of them

      most people here are powerlifters. dosnt mean we have to like it. i thought they would change the rules to eliminate this smh

      Lmao ur def a powerlifter trying to defend this shit

    • @StockyDude

      You’re defending the use of a “trans rep” - a rep that you clowns identify as a rep but we all know that’s not what people are talking about when they ask you how much you can bench. Sorry, but a trans rep is not a real rep. It belongs in the same category as CrossFit pull-ups and Raygun’s breakdancing.

      Time for those people who say “not a single rep done” to be proven right by the video itself.

    Not a single rep was made that day. All of this lifts are like 10cm. What a joke this is

      sounds like they benched way more than u

    • @drazendakovic
      @drazendakovic 6 месяцев назад +3

      @@riccardovaghigavazzi with this techniqe sure they do. If we would do it in the way of not bending your spine over your belly and go spine flat on the bench while making a full range of motion on the bar pushing it from chest, with the help of arms and shoulders instead of how they do it here with full body they dont stand a chance with me. This has nothing to do with power, strength, what a bench should be. This is all one big joke. The athletes are not guilty for anything they are just obeying the rules and the rules are what needs to be changed. If the rules are the way they are i would also "cheat" to get a better result. So i think we should change the rules, this is to hard to watch...

      @@drazendakovic Having an arch helps with stabilization.
      They are doing a full ROM: arms locked out, 90° angle and they "push it from chest" like you say.
      If your shoulders are pushing while you bench, I hope you don't get too damaged when you'll be older.
      I think there are 2 options: like the previous guy said, you're jealous because you can't have a flexible, heavy and controlled bench or you're one of those guys who say "sumo is cheating, wide grip bench is cheating and low bar squat is cheating".
      Whichever case it is, you need to grow up.
      It's like saying every race car should be manual because sequential transmission is not real driving

      Any time someone makes a comment like this the measurement is wildly exaggerated. Do you know what 10cm looks like?

    • @SebLeng-x7q
      @SebLeng-x7q 5 месяцев назад +1

      You sound super insecure. No hate but if you don't like the sport and how the rules allows benching, then don't watch it.
      You should work on yourself and everyone of these lifters would bench more than you even without an arch.

      @@benchoflumethiazide 1500 total. And your not wrong arching isnt a new thing and it isn’t inherently wrong. But abusing a big arche is. The sport has became a joke. Benching and deadlifting isn’t abt raw strength. I’ll all about positioning and leveraging.

      @@hencobylsma every sport involves leverages and technique. This is like saying basketball has become a joke because of tall players dunking
      PL is thriving, growing fast. The people sayings it’s a joke just don’t get it. Everybody is free to use whatever technique they please - these guys are still the best in the world
