The buyouts are fine so your players cant be stolen, but when ur not using them yourself its just pathetic to not lower it until all competitive spots have been filled. Dont come with that bullshit, they just abused their status as the best team in the region so for any competitive person you basically cant decline them. Besides having high buyouts is fine cus it means other teams cant steal you, but usually when you arent using the player anymore the buyout gets lowered which G2 was only willing to do until all competitive spots were filled already. Its a great way to secure ur monopoly on LEC titles, but its pathetic people skills. Luckily with the new CEO they've improved quite a bit in that spot (or they simply cant afford to keep people benched).

@@holydevill7603 what "lone league players"? my dude, players have lawyers with them and contracts are re-written a bunch of times before signing based on negotiations. just because when you're seeking out an average job with average skill set that anyone can know/learn you don't have much or any room for negotiation, that doesn't mean that that's how it works when you're considered to be really, really good/a professional at a specific job, then you can actually negotiate your salary and surrounding terms. if you're a plumber, you take your salary and contract terms or leave it, when you're a really really good/one of the best cardiovascular surgeons in the world, you negotiate everything.

I think no one is doing anymore. There is no organization on the market with money to pay buyouts.
