Nice to see TinHiFi's comeback with a pretty solid set. I was honestly worried they'd go for something not very ideal, but the C0 delivers at least what you expect from them
Hi! Sorry for the off topic, but can you tell where to read about Heyday mod with micro pore in front vent? I saw the measurements on your squig and thats interested me, because Heyday lacks low frequencies when outside. How to make this mod and how it affects overall sound quality, especially in terms of density and speed.
You just need to purchase micropore tape from Amazon or local grocery store. It is basically very porous tape meant for use on skin. Buy a roll and you place a small piece on the front vent which is the vent hole closest to the nozzle, usually at the base of the nozzle. On many sets, it simply increases bass response. Can't figure it out, easier to ask me here: facebook.com/groups/hopesanddriams
i saw this video when it came out but i did not notice it was an open back iem. i'd been searching for an open back for a while now, so now i have a set of these on the way. i'm just hoping it's actually good at letting sound pass through.
Right, at the time I got it a bit early and could not confirm. I don't know if they published a picture but I am still a bit skeptical as no one has really pulled off a well done open back IEM. KZ tried a few.
@@gigachad6521 I got them two days ago. First, they do let sound through, but not as much as open back headphones. So basically my tin t2 are similar. Also,it turns out that the usb c version does not have a 2pin connection. However, I like the way they sound. Bass is present, the highs are tame and voices sound natural. I like the balance. Sadly, I won't be using them since their purpose was to be an open back, Bluetooth set, but they failed both points.
@@carlos2004 are the treble high in these? I'm a treble sensitive person, would you say the treble is bright or shouty? Do you do fos gaming with it? Can you try to game with it and tell how good they are for fps gaming like valorant, pubg, etc.
@@gigachad6521 i wouldn't call the treble bright. sure, vocals are very forward (2k-4k) but they're not shouty either. everything feels actually balanced, but with forward vocals. the treble falls off before the brightness or sparkle kicks in. as for gaming, they're mediocre just like any other single DD iem, nothing special or different here.
ELF is more about the shell format than sound. I never heard Zero but guessing by reviews, it is better. C2 is great but on the bright side. C3 is the more relaxed one, C2 the bright one.
I think I said something like that, it isn't as intense as C2, but the core idea of the signature is there. C2 was a set that hit TinHiFi fans right, so this will too in this style shell. C2 driver is crazy good, better than ELF.
@@PaulWasabii Sorry for skipping that part, yeh I just watched what you mentioned in the video, sometimes I just read the words on your paper and jump from part to part. 😆 It's interesting that C2 is brighter than Elf despite having a tad more bass (perhaps the differences past 8K). Yea C2 is technicality beast esp for the price. For people who enjoy overall bright sound and more suitable for recordings that have fuller bass spectrum (for violins/cellos it sounds off though). For me, it'd be perfect with a bit more midbass impact and vocal warmth.
Princess is a 6mm DD, its ok for what it does. As I said about Princess, it was meant for entry level, people new to the hobby. If you have a few sets already, you shouldn't be shopping for $15 micro DDs unless you just want a hang down. Princess also hit the Sony MH755 target, that set was insanely popular for a reason. It may not be for you, but it was actually an interesting one.

Thanks for the review
Nice review, tinhifi c0 compare between moondrop chu2 is better or nah?
Chu 2 wasn't my thing. Lan is better or ELF if you want this shell style

thanks for the content as usual wasabii
I have them so within 2 weeks.

Is it fully vented?
Good question that I don't know the answer. There is a front vent and not sure what is behind the big grill in the back.
I see C0 have blue version, is they have different in sound or just the color?
I assume it is just the color
what is the difference between the versions normal, normal std, and special std?
That I don't know
Driver in straight housing..hmm if they put C2 driver in this format will be interesting..C2 bass is excellent...still love my T2.
I don't think they used the C2 driver, but yes, that would be an upscale, desirable version of this one. C2 and C3 drivers are excellent.
Did you prefer tinhifi c0 or tanjim zero or just get tinhifi c2?

On the graph Elf looks like a C2 with less bass, perhaps more like a refined OG Chu.

Paul come on bro, Princess Chang Le is sucha garbage, if this iem is like Chang Le, its kinda fail...
