I’m from Iowa so I give you the permission permit to call that piece a nugget. I haven’t even had a picker in the two years I’ve been doing this. I did have one I could hear hit the pan. So to me…. Yes it’s a nugget! Love your videos. Keep up the great work.

Not sure what has happened at Vogus HQ over the last month or so, but I really feel like the quality of these longer video's have come on a Massive way, they remind me of the older ones you've done just (naturally) edited better than all those years ago. And i for one, prefer to hold out for a decent length quality video over lots of little short ones. I watched few older episodes the other day and just noticed the step ups you've made over the years. If you're ever keen to get the long tom set up out again id really enjoy another video on that, or a really keen highbank session. Theres something incredibly fresh about your channel, your passion for this hobby is infectious and the knowledge you share riveting, not just on the prospecting side of things but for your interests too, be it to do with the dawgs, native bush and ecology, history ect. It genuinely feels great as a viewer to see the passion, commitment and flair in you, & to see how that rubs off on those around you too. The fact you can prospect in the land where everything is out to kill you is rather amazing…. Hey maybe that’s a video idea. Out in our desert where we are (high desert western Mojave) we have quite a few things we have to be careful for; sidewinders, Mohave greens, scorpions and to a lesser degree Sulfugae aka sun spider/camel spiders. Do u ever run into the scary stuff out in the bush? I saw the scorpion 🦂 where u do your cleanups but from box jellyfish to trap door spiders and snakes on par with us I wonder how bad it can be. I wear snake guards and single ear headphones when detecting so I can hear the rattles, especially when I’m digging targets in the roots of brush where u can run into a rumba of snakes which is not a good day.
Smile on your face at the end with the gold.......got a permit for that. Also good on ya taking the good pup to the beach. Love the video's and will be jumping on the patreon as soon as I can. I love detecting and panning here in Trinity County CA. Find some good takes now and then but more about the experience like you say. Great video and I wouldn't have gone near them people either. Lol
For the Algo, I seeded an old guys bucket with a bit, he had no idea what he was doing but he was shovelling all day for nothing and I felt bad. It was out of hard rock crush and not water worn at all and he didn’t even notice. Golds gold.. ✌🏻

And to help with the shovel goblins, it probably would help if you didn't show the background so much. You could show different place around were you are at to hopefully help. Permits are only ever required when you get caught and can't leg it.
I'd answer that but I don't have an "Answering" permit currently...it lapsed and I'm just too skint at the mo.
