  • How to create webbed Dragon Ears that can easily be adapted for a mermaid if needed
    I am excited to bring to you my building process for the ears I created for my Dragon Warrior makeup.
    If you don't have access to Worbla you can do most of these steps with just foam and a hot glue gun
    This video is long overdue, so thank you for being so patient and I hope my tutorial can help give you ideas for your own projects and builds ^.^
    The horns are in the works and shall be next!
    Love ya TeamDream

      Totally feel you on the worbla love! I have such a long way to go to mastering it but every time I work with it I enjoy it more. Thanks Kim!

      NsomniaksDream same! It's hard to figure out just the right temperature to work with it without creating those chunky tears or getting jagged edges! No problem 👍

    Also, could you make an actual mini dragon as an earring or accessory?

    Thanks for getting these out to us. I fully intend to try this. but will have to use craft foam as no one sells Worbla around here.

      Aw yea it sucks how hard it can be to get depending on where you live :(
      This will totally work with just craft foam though ^_^
      (Minus the sanding part....that might be tricky on foam. Haha)

    Love this! All the warbla tips were super cool. (And good little PSA about ventilation while using spray paint ;))

      Well you wouldn't know anything about proper ventilation while spray painting right...? ;D
      Hehe thanks Matt!

      NsomniaksDream of course not! Only an idiot would spraypaint without ventilation

    I know this video is a year old and I'm way late to comment and you will probably never see this, but I still had to say thank you for inspiring me. I sculpted a Maleficent bust years ago, got frustrated with the horn texture and set her aside so she has sat unfinished all this time. Thanks to you, I have a way to finish her finally. **hugs**

    I didn’t have the type of sheet like plastic you have but I have a very similar one that comes in the shape of plastic pellets? Would those work for this craft?

    • @jackdaw634
      @jackdaw634 6 лет назад +1

      Sofia Terrazas If you mean Polymorph plastic/Instamorph/whatever other names this has, I'm sure that with a bit of patience it would work just fine. Obviously, as it doesn't come in sheets, you would need some extra time to flatten it (hence the bit of patience I mentioned) before you can sandwich your ears between it or cut it into scales, but I personally think it should be possible.

    The craft foam in America is very different from what they call craft foam in the UK. It's like fiberglass and is a Stanley knife killer. Just awful to work with. I think what you have is like insulation foam or something else. Wish I could buy that. Back to doing only paper mache instead.

    • @NsomniaksDream
      @NsomniaksDream  5 лет назад

      Craft foam here is pretty much just 2mm EVA foam. So if you search for that you should be able to find suppliers in the UK, especially since it's a widely use material for cosplayers :)
      Sites like coscraft.co.uk sell this type of foam ^_^

      You're highly incorrect. Dragons can both have finned ears, fluffy ears, droopy ears, everything.
