You got your 'stratagy' wrong my friend.
First rule of buffet, go there hungry. You'd already had a buffet earlier, so probably wasn't that hungry.
Second rule, target high price items.
Seafood, especially Lobster, crab and King prawn. Steaks. etc
Third rule avoid things that are cheap and fill you up. Pretty much what your first plate was. So off to a bad start.

Lee, you have no idea how to do a buffet
Starter - lobster, crab, prawns and mussels, with a side salad'
Main - beef, pork, chicken, gammon, lamb any other meat.
    No pudding.
You choose spring roll (twice!), corn on the cob mac cheese etc etc
The only surprise is, you didn't do the burger and chips!
    You robbed your self!!!!!!!
    You chose very badly.

This is why there is a huge divide between the rich and the poor in America - wages are great compared with the uk, and you’ll see servers at restaurants earning more than a heart surgeon would in the UK. The problem is, if you’re poor you’re really poor and get minimal help and no medical care.

When I was growing up, Las Vegas was run by the mafia, and buffets were one of the ways to attract gamblers to go to a city built in the desert, in the middle of nowhere. The mob would offer inexpensive junkets- to include travel, hotel & food which was likely a buffet. It was cheap, but you had to gamble at their establishment(s). The majority lose more than they earn from gambling, so the mob made a profit. Nowadays, the mob no longer runs Vegas & it is considerably more expensive. Inflation affects all transactions when you think about it.

I can never understand tipping in a buffet restaurant.
Who do you tip? What did they do?...
You pay a fortune to eat there but you're arranging your food yourself!

It's Vegas for you. If you are a gambler, you get the points card to use for meals, etc. I went to the buffet at the Excalibur for brunch and it was really good!!

I seem to be the only 1 who thought the food looked great. Every time I watch you eat I get hungry and that is a good thing for me because I find it very hard to get food into me. Great video again.

When in doubt, refer to a Webster's dictionary. Right after the word, it will have the pronunciation spaced out into syllables, then what kind of word it is, noun, verb, adverb, adjective, etc. Smtms the more pronounced syllable in a word, will be capitalized. It is lretty interesting. Idk if google translate does that as well, you may want to check. It will also pronounce a word for you ! It is a big help when you are questioning pronunciations. 👌 Very good video ! Steady hand and impecvable editing ! A lot of work, well done ! Bravo !

Vegas changed after 2000. It went from a family orientated "Blue collar" attraction to an adult playground and one for wealthy adults at that. It had free shows such as the pirate ship battle outside Treasure Island (Not TI as they later rebranded it) and an affordable theme park at the back of the MGM Grand. Both gone years ago. Used to be able to get free alcohol from a waitresses in all the casinos as long as you occasionally put a quarter into a slot machine. On my last visit in 2009 that had all but gone. The buffets were great value back then as they were affordable and great value. In saying that even the restaurants were cheaper than in any other city. They kept prices low in Vegas back then to attract people and families to come. Now its all $60+ per person buffets and extortionate resort fees that you have to pay before you even get into your hotel room! If I win the lottery and decide to go again I'll stay in and around Freemont St as its a bit cheaper than the strip, but that's changing as well. Greed took over with global corporations taking the pee. The likes of the Vegas of old are well and truly gone and never to return. Real shame as I loved Vegas and went 3 times but it's simply unaffordable now.
