My older brother died last week. I keep coming back to this song. It's one of the only things that makes me feel any better. I wish I could thank Gerard for helping me get through this.

The band went through so much, I'm proud of them for putting themselves and their health over the needs of the fans and making music. They couldn't get healthy in the band, drugs, alcohol, and success ended the band - no one person.
Gee wrote this song at the time when Mikey tried to kill him self and overdosed. He was in hospital at the time and the doctors said that he probably wouldn’t make it. If you listen closely at the start of brother you can hear Gerard talking to someone about him.
“Remember when you and I would make things up” That line really got me because when Gerard and Mikey were kids they reslly couldn’t go outside, so they nomade imaginary worlds inside their heads
I'm crying, not because of this song, but because the recommended videos below it are all my chemical romance concerts, when they were all together. I'm glad he's doing what makes him happy, but when he performed with Frank, mikey and Ray...those times were different.
