The reason the crowd "sucks" is because this was a festival that Gee played, it wasn't a concert SPECIFICALLY for him. Yeah, some people were there for him but I'm sure most were for the headlining act. Chill lol

yeah, exactly, in fact I am sure most people are turned off by his music, just because how distorted and "bad" it sounds, you just can't deny that, I personally enjoy it, but I can see with people who don't feel connected to him not being able to even consider the tracks decent
If they don't like his music, what are they doing there? A festival is to listen to different bands to discover, and your favorite bands... the crowd is very very bad, only at the end they looked a little decent.
Just came across this for the first time. Was about to say the same thing. Never been a fan of festivals in general.
Tbh, this album is very underrated. This is one of my favorite records ever!

I agree. I liked most of his solo stuff but there's truly something COMPLETELY different about MCR. It's weird..Ozzy left Black Sabbath..but didn't feel all that "different" but Gerald Way solo is truly different than MCR. It made me realize how important an entire band is compared to just the lead singer sometimes... But on the other side Marilyn Manson can play with any 3-5 other people & he is ALWAYS Marilyn Manson lol

That's true. It's probably because it was a festival and not just a regular concert. There were some people that weren't there to see Gerard and just came to see other musicians perform.
I'm not much into the mcr-related comments, but that's a pretty mcr-tcsr era outfit.

I Have Some News For You
Watching this you can tell he wasn't really feeling it as much as he did with MCR and the dead crowd didn't help. I am so happy there back together playing shows again, saw them a few days ago and he seemed so happy. It was such a great experience. Not to say I don't like his solo stuff, found Hesitant Alien at a local record store the day before I saw MCR and it was an instant buy, but you can tell when he goes and gets the gang together (pun intended) they have so much more fun than they would solo.

Did you guys know that the guitarist for his solo career is Ian Fowles who is also eagle bones from the Aquabats which is a show and a band but the show Gerard helped write along with Christian Jacobs and Jason deviliers
You can see how broken he is. And to be honest this makes me sad. Sure it's a festival and most of the crowd didn't come for Gerard, so it's not an nice crowd for him. But we all can see... He's tired, exhausted, his vocals were getting worse and worse... And it breaks me to see him like that, even if it was 3+ years ago. I just hope he's doing so much better right now. He deserves it to be happy and chill. He's such a great man. Also, I love his looks, he's so cute still.
Thank you for all you do Gee!! You're so fucking precious and inspirational! I hope you make more music and some live shows, but even if you don't I'll always appreciate you for who you are. The important thing is that you're doing what makes you happy and spending more time with your adorable family. Also, you're healthy and happy now and that's what truly matters!

How lucky are in the US to be able to enjoy this kind of concerts more frequently, especially this. Few people are watching him in the crowd, if he had made a more complete tour in Latin America would always be sold out's, I hope the concerts continue soon.
