I know YOU know what you're doing... and you're doing a great job. but watching most off camera and not know what you're doing because you're not TALKING... makes it hard to know what you're doing. I have been "Flipping" RVs for over 30 years... I have a notion of what you're doing... but even I could have benefited from you talking and explaining and SHOWING us up close of the cuts you were making... Please next time, talk to us, explain to us, SHOW us what you're doing. Thank you.
@@nobleroofinggeneralcontrac7961 That's okay... I'll find another video that will explain it better... I don't have the time or the money to "Screw up a few times!!" Your video is good... and next time maybe it will be great. Thank you for trying... "Measure Twice... Cut Once!"
i could argue that the video was specifically about using a torch to cut vct, therefore the measuring and cutting was not the essence of the video, and need not be explained. however i must agree with you, in that the "cutting using a torch" was not explained, and barely seen in the video. with the exception of indicating that the torch will make the tile easier to cut, the video provided no information.
It shouldn't....You must make sure your aligned exactly with the previous tile. This works particularly well for uneven or crooked walls because the tile you use for the straight edge follows the contour and that transfers directly onto the tile your going to cut. I've always used this system with great success. Measuring works too of course , it's just much slower.
Finally the correct way to finish the edges, quick, easy, and professional.
transferring the dimensions to a tile it's a brilliant idea. Thanks for sharing man.
That is simply incredible. A very experienced person. Thank you for sharing.
Goo job. How much is the price of labor. by sq/ft
Make a video of how you line the vct up with the door corners and cut it
wish you actually showed the part with the torch on camera.
All he's doing is heating up the tile where he wants to cut it so his knife cuts through it easier. You can also just use a heat gun.
Yeah just heat the back of the tile where you made the marks.
Treat a man like a floor tile if you lay him right you can walk all over him for ages!!😂🤣😀😅

EXACTLY... Thank You.
Can a heat gun be used in place of a torch?
Yes
everytime i try to do that it gives me big gaps

Heat the back of the tile. Make sure not to burn it.
With a heat gun?
I guess you really didn’t want anyone to learn from this. You are doing things off camera and not talking.
Its titled … cut with a torch… what are you doing with the torch ???
Your not telling us what to do or how to use the torch,
I hope it works for me
for starters thats not the way you lay vct down man. is one orizontal and the other vertical.
francisco regalado lol maybe he had a special request some people are weird like that
Brandon Cole may be.
francisco regalado no not everybody wants there tile quarter turn some colors it can look tacky
That depends on the customer request ..
wouldnt be quicker to use a pair of snips
Ur more likely to crack the tile
Sorry Pal That is cheating.
