It was literally 4 minutes into the 5 minute tutorial before you actually added an image.

@@wagwanlaz On the upper left side of the XD click the "hamburger menu"/ the icon with three horizontal lines, scroll down and you'll find "Import" then click that. ^w^
@@wagwanlaz or you can just shift+ctrl+I
I just saved all the images in a folder on my desktop and when i need to fill in the images onto the repeat grid, i open up the folder as he did in the video, beside my repeat grid and drag the images down to the grid.

Slight annoyance with this, is it only seems to work with raster images. I tried using this method to import a series of SVG icons and it just repeated the first image selected in all the repeating grid boxes. Is this because Xd treats vector images differently to raster?
Hey Joe, if you drag the SVGs in off the desktop on to the Repeat Grid Group, does it still repeat just the first one?
Is it same with windows users
I can’t do this anymore with windows, like it’s always give me the icon that I can’t now but when I started this project I was able to now I can’t finish cause I can’t drag any image into my repeat grids
