Also the pvp is way better in this one, this is comeing from someone who hate the dark zone and any other form of pvp in the first game.
xxx_ChuckNorris_xx the difference with this games bullet sponges is the some enemies have armor you actually have to shoot off to do damages do kill them witch makes you feel better about your self knowing that you actually have to do something instead of just shooting a naked guy 5000 times
I care! I’m a Cali guy, and as I’m going through the game I keep asking myself “I wonder how accurate this is. And that. And that. And THAT!” I glad to know it is!
I just visited DC a few months back and travelled all through the city and the museums and I have to say it was really cool to see them get it almost visually correct distance wise too. DC has a special place in my heart.
Erick Lambe Comedy they do a 1:1 for the environment. In the division one if you saw a street corner that had a pizza shop and you go into the game to find it then you will see a pizza shop on that exact same corner. The division is a boring lack luster game to me but you gotta give props to the their dev team for the accuracy that they have
120 hours into Div1, loved it but got bored at the end Playing Div2, you are reminded a lot of the first, but enough changes have been made and new things introduced that it does feel like a proper sequel.

Lol that's like one of the only features I was asking for for this installment (that and an actual interesting fucking story), but they dropped the ball on both.
@@abraiz2221 Well I have the first one and to my knowledge none of the games are in the same timeline so the story, you don't have to worry about. The controls are the same in both games with the cover and special skills you can use. Customization like different masks and shoes or shirts is a little different. Now there is different weapons in both 1 & 2 so weapon variety is a thing. Missions are also kinda of the same, but different, same thing with the Dark Zone. Let me know if this helped you....
That's the downside of Anthem, the entire game forces you to play with others. Enemy health, spawn amount, weak points are all designed with EA's misguided "multiplayer only" mythos in mind. Oh and it's endgame is trash
@@cambion_entertainment no it doesn't force you to play multiplayer., its not a good game from a well established giant of gaming ill agree,, but you can play it solo.
Someone tell me is it a difficult game like say rainbow 6 siege? I've got anthem to trade in and I don't wanna end up wth yet ANOTHER game i can't do.Not that I couldn't do anthem just uninstalled it once that console breaking bug appeared.
I definitely gotta pick this up. Div1 had its issues but most of them were fixed over multiple updates. I played the Div2 beta and even tho I only put a couple hours into, I loved how it put you out in the action right away, and it seems like enemies are more strategic and less spongy than before, which was a major gripe I had with Div1. I’m so glad it’s a huge success so far, so I gotta get this ASAP.
I bought it on release day but only have a couple hours played. This game is one of the most complete at launch titles I can remember in years. I love it. It gives me enough leeway to feel like a bad operative while throwing enough enemies at me to keep anxious about each engagement. And the loot... glorious plethoras of loot. I’m usually not into the looter/shooter thing but they are definitely trying to keep us hooked. Thanks buddy.
Cooking Sauce I was talking from a online MP/Game as a service title. Comparing it to the CODs & destinys & Anthem and even the divisions first installment. God of War is a masterpiece as far as I’m concerned and the games as a service titles can’t even compare.
You guys are great, anytime I’m torn between getting a game or saving money, your before you buy videos are usually the deciding factor. Keep up the great work this stuff is awesome!
Never played the first Division. But after hearing the fairly good reception this game is getting 2 days after launch, i bought the game. I think this game may finally be the one to scratch that looter shooter itch i've had for so long.
you deff should. You wont be getting high end gear (yellows/reds) but the occasional purple will drop. Funny story, me and a friend and his friend were running around and ticking of things to do in the open world, We get a control point, yay, in there drops a purple M700 Remington, at level 8. the other two guys get greens. So we start making our way to the next story mission, I find a loot crate, I get a green, one of the other guys gets a purple MPX. This is literally minutes after my purple M700. It was good, it was FUN. thats the critical part, Anthem, not fun. TD2, fun and engaging.
Funny story, I bought the first one and got a solid 3-4 hours on it and tossed it into my pile of games. I played it mostly with friends but since most of my friends moved on to other games so did I. I still have it at the bottom of my game pile to this very moment. It wasn't a bad game from what I remember I have always loved looter shooter games and never realized I loved those kind of games until destiny came out. My god the amount of time I spent grinding in the first destiny might be on part with how many hours I spent on minecraft and pokemon.
It is sad that that is true. Since games were able to be delivered via the internet, game publishers started pushing out the games faster and faster to make the shareholders happy. This is why today we have games that have patches to are nearly, and some just as large, as the very games themselves.
For the first time in 15 years, I just went for a whole week without gaming. Rushed games as a service titles have practically destroyed all enjoyment for me. Thankfully I’ve discovered some great old games that are fully functional and fully offline.

1600 hours in the first Division, so I was a bit tired of the game. But this sequel is waaaay better than I expected. The devs learned from their mistakes from the first one, they listened to their players and really made a mindboggling experience. The amount of content at launch is incredible. Graphics are insane. Gunplay feels great. And yes, it plays great as a solo game. Currently lvl 26 after 27 hours, taking my time to explore everything. And LOOT LOOT LOOT! Great video on an even greater game.

Man, this is the first time I've watched one of these videos and idk why. I have to say, this is a really solid review. Now I know where to go before future game purchases.
The mission areas/maps are super good. Highly detailed and interesting. The enemies give super fun fights. They have skills, rush you, flank, lay prone, res each other... Super fun 👍👌
I appreciate this game verses the first one. The first one I felt I HAD to play with other players and I’m a loner when it comes to playing video games. The second one gives the option to do the story mode and side missions by yourself, I love that about D2
I'm just gonna be playing with friends. I find games more enjoying when playing with people you know online or in person. anybody else agree? If not it's all good
The only time I don't like playing online for example is like borderlands where the people you play with take all the loot leaving none for yourself. Also in GTA 5 everyone is trying to kill you and there's no purpose in playing sometimes because of that.
Agreed, I didn’t like the first too much once I realised there wasn’t much to do, this is far far superior defiantly worth buying, even solo however with friends it’s so so fun
I love the fact that your review just gives pros and cons without useless ratings like metacritic. The point of reviews is understanding if you would like it.
@@august7743 How are they not useful? They show the average positive/negative review ratings from all major (and even some minor) critics... Honestly for me this is one of my favorite looter shooter game for now. My favorite mission by far is stealing the Declaration of Independents. The second mission was saving the president from the True Son's and also showing how much of a bad ass president he is. The next thing is what I don't like is bullet sponge and that's one thing that's been around for age's and trust me I've played TCTD1 and ooh boy it's was very easy to kill an enemy that's on your level or lower. When I got to high enough gear to play legendary mode in TCTD1 I was like "dam you need to strategize a lot. I've gotten to play the end game in the open beta not the in the full release but it was amazing and I loved it! That's also one of the reason's why I've bought TCTD2 honestly. That's not the only reason why I bought it. I bought it because not also about the end game its self but the amount of time that was put to make this game like the people at Ubisoft is amazing. I've felt if like was there in DC and the amount of work in the sound, graphics, and people who've helped out in the game is amazing. Like man get me in this like holy cow dude but yeah. Anyways I know some you guys are not gonna read this all the way through but this is my honest opinion of the game so yeah and I hope you guys have a nice and wonderful day. Best regards.
This game is wonderful I luckily got this game for free because it came with my graphics card for my PC and it is an AWESOME game. The graphics are really good, the gameplay is great and it is an awesome game in general I just wish that the bots/enemies are just less stupid, like Jake Baldino said, but I still highly recommend this game to people that just like shooting bad guys.
On point, the ''Before you buy'' is awesome and I'm glad that you guys came up with the idea, how it serve to give us what we need to make a decision on whether or not to buy games. @gameranx is amazing as a group of content creators. I think I can say that all of us that follows this group of amazing people love their work (duh) and the time they put into it ^^ Thank you gameranx!
I didn't care for DC when I played the beta. I thought NY was waaaay better. But I think I'm still gunna grab this game soon. Just hearing too many good things. Update: I did in fact buy the game. Got to about level 11 and got bored. The game is good no doubt. But I just can't get immersed into it. It feels like I'm barely switching out weapons. I've been using the same ones for a long time. Which really makes it apparent I'm just doing the same exact thing over and over. For some reason I didn't notice as much when I played the first one. I was hopeful this would hit a good spot, but The Division just doesn't do it for me. Too plain.
I didn’t like the Division 1 at all, but the Division 2 is a massive upgrade and it’s amazing. I’m having a ton of fun right now and I’m really impressed with almost everything in this game. I really love how the AI don’t just run around mindlessly, I love that it’s a little more challenging (especially in the DZ) to take them out and then you obtain the juicy rewards. I’m a solo player so I really love that, I’m really having a blast and I’m glad I copped this. (I got this before watching this I just came here to say I like it lol)
I'm from NYC too and they did a sick job with the map and graphics on the first game. I was in Hells Kitchen one night walking down a block, and Im 100% positive I was there in the Division once, and it was a total mindfuck. Not to mention being inside Madison Sq. Garden, Lincoln Tunnel etc
I’m liking the game but the only thing that really needs fixing (for me anyway), the texture pop-in on the PS4 Pro version. It completely breaks immersion.
Never played 1st and b4 I buy another full price game I'm probably gonna spend more time getting stuck on than actually enjoying I'd like.someone to tell me how difficult it is.......? R we talking rainbow 6 or splinter cell level of difficulty or gta5 story level of difficulty, please tell????
I got The Division 2 for PS4 on the release day (didn't pre-order) and spent almost the whole weekend playing it with a friend of mine. I'm really enjoying this game! I will say however that I think I liked the New York setting a little more as well. One thing that I've found frustrating is that there seem to be some bugs with the skills system (drone, hive, etc.) which can significant affect gameplay. I hope they fix this soon.
Coming from someone from Washington DC (Well, just outside of Arlington), I can attest that it looks amazing. I’m surprised I haven’t picked it up since I know the area so well. It seems great so far.
By the time it hits $20 you will be getting creamed by players playing since day -3... the dark zone will not be fun for you unless you are being carried.
You have helped me with my buying decision to purchase The Division 2. And you're the very 1st reviewer of anything on RUclips I've commented upon. Such was your positive impact! Thankyou sir.
I liked the Division 1. Only the single player though. Couldn't care less about multiplayer. If the sequel has good single player I'm happy. In general I think UBI has become the undisputed master in creating highly detailed open world games like this.
I know games as a service tends to get alot of hate but as long as they ship as a completed product and are free of any pay to win microtransactions I love them! Games like Destiny etc. just feel more alive because they are constantly evolving and the world is changing versus a product that you get that is virtually static. When done right they are great imo!
I love the Division games. Bought both and and bought Div2 twice [PC&Xbox]. As much as I don't have any issues with the game, I totally agree with you on the whole manual crouch. It would make things a bit better and if a wee lean mechanic was added, sharing cover would be made a lot easier.
Stevepwn Productions You sound very naïve (unless I am somehow misunderstanding your comment). I grew up very, very poor and often went to bed hungry every single night. Not everyone can sacrifice $60 on a game, and instead they have to keep that money for necessary purchases.
Usually don't like playing looter shooters for long, because it's basically the same stuff all over again while your brain cells die, UNLESS there's actually a good story and interesting characters. However, Division 2's world is SO BEAUTIFUL and vibrant that i find myself coming back again and again. While writing this comment I had Div 2 playing in the background and I started hearing this weird noise that I thought was coming from inside my pc case. Turns out it was crickets chirping in the game.
What makes these types of titles worthwhile for me personally especially this one is that you can play by alone and with a 40hr story and post content, But I do miss the flow of cosmetics you could find in the first one The multiplayer isn’t a end all and it feels good to go in alone and it doesn’t feel as if you get punished for doing so. The story is good for it’s a Tom Clancy story, so if you want something with fantasy and magic these won’t be your type of titles lmao. This is the only GaaS I’m into.
Good for you but thats not really the point of reviews and people like you are the people who encourage reviews like ign where they only say good stuff to make the person who bought the game feel encouraged with their purchase

xxx_ChuckNorris_xx It is similar but better the movement and the gunplay are alot smoother the enemys are way less bullet spongey. The story in my oppion is much better and the side quest feel like a short mini story. their is alot more content in the game than there was in the first.
Some might not care, but speaking as a DC native, from what I’ve seen the re-creation of the city is spot on.
As a New Yorker, they did good with NYC in the first as well. Even if gameplay needs work, the setting design team is stellar
DC has a special place in my heart.
yeah it's ubisoft
Erick Lambe Comedy they do a 1:1 for the environment. In the division one if you saw a street corner that had a pizza shop and you go into the game to find it then you will see a pizza shop on that exact same corner. @@abraiz2221 Yes, I never played the first game neither

It wasn't a bad game from what I remember I have always loved looter shooter games and never realized I loved those kind of games until destiny came out. My god the amount of time I spent grinding in the first destiny might be on part with how many hours I spent on minecraft and pokemon.

I hate that we need to breathe a sigh of relief that the game launched with a basic level of functionality
It's a damn shame what games have come to, I was afraid this game would be broken
It is sad that that is true. Since games were able to be delivered via the internet, game publishers started pushing out the games faster and faster to make the shareholders happy. This is why today we have games that have patches to are nearly, and some just as large, as the very games themselves.

Everything is more fun with friends. But yeah especially games like these are much more fun with others
The only time I don't like playing online for example is like borderlands where the people you play with take all the loot leaving none for yourself. Also in GTA 5 everyone is trying to kill you and there's no purpose in playing sometimes because of that.

What makes these types of titles worthwhile for me personally especially this one is that you can play by alone and with a 40hr story and post content, But I do miss the flow of cosmetics you could find in the first one
The multiplayer isn’t a end all and it feels good to go in alone and it doesn’t feel as if you get punished for doing so.
The story is good for it’s a Tom Clancy story, so if you want something with fantasy and magic these won’t be your type of titles lmao.

Bought this sunday. Ive been busy with school and work. Hopefully I get a chance to play the next couple days. So far, really good.
I enjoyed the video I bought the game first without wacthing but this video made me more confident in my purchase thank you
Good for you but thats not really the point of reviews and people like you are the people who encourage reviews like ign where they only say good stuff to make the person who bought the game feel encouraged with their purchase
