Campbell River looks so calm. I used to live there when I was in my early teens. Ill be there the first week of June am visiting my dad, cousin and a few friends. My cousin is a fishing guide. I want him to teach me how to fish. I have never been before. Thanks for the video.
Cant wait to move there next year(2023)!! The more I see Campbell river and the ocean the more I wanna live there! Born and lived around the Edmonton, Alberta all my life and now when I’m 43 and my daughter is done school I wanna move out there! Got aunts and uncle there!
yes Dan, thank you very much for you and Angie showing me around all links & sights of Campbell River. My so works with BC Ferries out of Nanaimo. I lived in BC for 31 years and then moved to St. John's Newfoundland for 5 yrs. It's time to come home. I'm not sold on going back to White Rock. I have always liked the northern part of the island. I like the out doors and I leave here September 1st. May drive back again for the 4th time. What is the population there now. Best regards thx again Angie v.
My childhood friend's son and son-in-law live in Vancouver, it's a great place to visit! One year we did some exploring out of the city and visited Campell River also a nice place to visit. If you love great seafood, cool boats and cold water it's the place to be!! Round trip Chicago to Vancouver via WestJet, they rule!! Nice tour with some places we didn't have time to check out, thanks!!
We usually visit Vancouver every year for a few days as we have family there too. Great city. Love the area down around Granville Island and False Creek.
always enjoy your videos especially when i see the beagle beatiful place out there it looks similar to where i live in south padre island tx except that the weather here so hot and about 95 percent humid keep up the good work excellent videos
Thanks. Ya, I hear you about humidity. It got to mid 80's today here but just mid 20% humidity. Pretty nice. So glad we are able to move with the seasons. Stay cool down there. Cheers Ray
Ray thanks for the video .....my wife and I are moving Campbell river Salmon Point RV park in 2019. Selling our home in Ontario were bugs and ice grow. By the way I cut my own hair for 23 years and saved $ 3250.00 .....I don't tip the barber if he has a bad day.....LOL Love dogs so it's ALWAYS a pet- athon.
We will have to do some Cuba or Mexico. Trying to talk her into 2 months on the Arizona / river Grew up in Northern Ontario........ by the way do you know why NUNAVUT has the highest murder and suicide rate ? Snow and the bugs and 6 months of darkness WHO HOO..........Sudbury also had a depressing shit hole feel growing up there. No I don't care if I have to get sun every 6 weeks for 2 weeks .of sun.....I'm not dying with a snowball in my hand.
Great video Ray. We are coming to Campbell River in June and your walk helps us picture the town and waterfront . We are planning to Geocache in the area and the waterfront walk has a ton of them. I thought we had a lot of geocaching in Oregon but Vancouver Island is crazy with geocaching .Jeff T from Bend .
Thanks for the interesting walk along the sea shore, it was very well done. It's good for us Aussies to follow a realaxing walk around an area that we probably won't get to in person. We were wondering how come Anne has a boat?
You're very welcome. Anne uses the boat to sightsee, relaxation and view the wildlife and she just loves the ocean and being on the water. Here is a video I did last summer when I went out with her for a boat trip - ruclips.net/video/Joj2krIcuRM/видео.html
great tour. we lived in CR about mid 1980s, and I flew out of the spit many times, before moving to ladner. we will be in your area with the rv at the end of June. do you mind if we give you a call for a visit?
Campbell River is about as far north as you can go on the Island and still get pretty good weather. It gets much cooler, cloudier and wetter after that. That's why not a whole lot of people live on the north island. Campbell River usually is a little hotter in the summer and more snow in the winter than say Victoria.
hi I watch your videos and you have great info on traveling. I have a question, I'm going to be driving a travel trailer for the first time, I'm in Fresno ca area, I'm trying to find out if there's anything routes to avoid, I'm heading up to Oregon and south Dakota. please help
That's a lot of area to cover. I would recommend picking up the Mountain Directory. I will show you routes that have steep grades. www.mountaindirectory.com/ Have a great trip!

We're considering a move from Ontario to the island. Not yet sure if Campbell River is too far north for us.
