The bear is one of the most beloved amigurumi plush toys by me and you. In this video, I describe and show a crochet pattern, how you can easily and simply crochet teddy bear in one hour. The size of the bear is about 6 inches. The tutorail is a step-by-step instruction for crocheting a bear. Even a beginner can make such a lovely amigurumi toy.

Please Never use beads,buttons to represent features on a face of any toy that is intended for a child, they could so easily choke on them.

Safety eyes are fine
They have backings on them so you can’t get them out
You also can use glue on safety eye before applying backing…..and keep in mind the age if the child you’re giving too.
I have just finished my first teddy it took me 2days not as good as yours but loved crochet it thank you I really new to crochet ❤

I’m confused on the ears you had row 1, then you skipped to row 3. I keep rewinding it but I do not see anything about row 2
This was my first successful amigurumi. I’ve attempted it twice but the first one (from another creator) didn’t turn out great 😢 this one turned out beautiful and the children adore them! I’ve been crocheting for about 10 years now and I think your tutorials and designs are beautifully and cleverly done!

hi, love your tutorial, but i am a little bit confused, what is the difference between the decreases and jus making a single crochet
A decrease takes away a stitch, making the stitch count less than before. A single crochet would give the same amount of stitches
When crocheting a decrease, you put your hook thru one stitch and pull up a loop then put hook thru the following stitch and pull up a loop (3 loops now on your hook) then you yarn over and pull thru all 3 loops.

So when it comes to the ears, there’s only two rows? Was it just a miss print saying row three after row one? It’s a shame to get all the way down to the last part and not have it right.

It All depends on the hook. The bigger is hook ,the bigger bear will be.

@@jaimezimmerman161 did you have issues with row 11 and 12 because they should have been written as one row? Then 13 should have been 12??? I’m so confused now
@carolynhummel4791 Yeah, I was confused too. I ended up just guessing and putting the arms where I thought they looked right and finishing off the row and counting it as all the same row. It ended up working out OK for me but I'd have to go through it again to make it make sense... I haven't made another one from this pattern since I first commented here, I'm sorry I can't be of more help!

How to make bigger size mam
Use a bigger hook. The bigger the hook, the bigger the bear.
Use thicker yarn and a bigger crochet hook, then it would work!

Hey! How can people learn if your crocheting 50 mph making it impossible to see what your doing. I can't read fast what's wrong with using your mouth
When the writing comes on, you can pause it and write the instructions out. Or just pause it and you do what she’s telling you. You can also stretch your screen to zoom into her stitch that she’s working on.
