    So far all good! Easy to follow even though it's the first toy that I crochet. And it already looks good! My teddy bear is at least 2x bigger, but I assume it's because I use different yarn (Alize Velluto) and a bigger hook.

    • @tommyssheep
      @tommyssheep  Год назад

      That’s great to hear. Yes, Alize Velluto is thicker yarn. That’s why your teddy bear is bigger. Well done 👍

Also I will share here in my channel another crochet toy tutorial next week in english. There will part where you can se how I sew all parts together. I will sew tail of the toy to the body so you can follow me and do that the same on the bear pattern. I use invisible stitch. It's the best but you can pick your favourite sew stitch and sew it together. I think it doesn't matter what stitch you will use or what way you will use because it's great material where you can hide everything 😁

    Is there a written pattern that goes with this as I found it difficult to follow the number of rows needed for the legs for example! Was it 7, 9, 10??? Also, you started out with 6 stitches in the magic ring, did a double stitch in each, but ended up with 14. Sorry, I'm confused!!! Also, it would be helpful if you said after each row, which row you were on and how many stitches there were. I gave up in the end and had to throw my wool away.

      Hello. If you are beginner try to keep making one thing as toys for example. You need to understand the system how to make balls and shapes what you want. You need to learn from start like magic ring, single crochets etc. Learn from youtube. It is the best and some books will help you too. I learned everywhere. I read a lots about crochet. I just practised hours and hours a day. I learned by myself and just practise will help you. Try and try..

    thank you!

    • @tommyssheep
      @tommyssheep  3 года назад +1

      Hello. I am glad you like it 😍 thank you! If you will double the number of crochets you have to do it in whole pattern. But I do not think it will work. On start when you have to make magic ring and then increase I can't imagine it. Try it. Maybe you will get nice and bigger bear but you have to change it from start.

    • @ndianne88
      @ndianne88 3 года назад +1

      I would recommend using a bigger hook and doubling the strands of yarn. So use two strands with a bigger hook and you will naturally get a bigger bear. Unless you want a huge huge one that should suffice. If you want the super huge one then you have to do it by trial and error cause the whole pattern has to be modified.

      Thank you very much! I would like to know better yarn than Dolphin baby. It is the best work with this yarn. The thread inside of the yarn is strong, the fluff stays on it. When you will join individual parts of your project together it will be so easy work with yarn from Himalaya. My experience with other chenille yarns is horrible. When the fluff doesn't keep on the thread it is hard work during crochet. It is really hard work when you want to sew ends of yarn inside and it is not possible to ripp out and crochet again with the same yarn. Himalaya makes the best chenille yarn for me. It is my opinion and if someone knows better yarn I would like to know it and try it 😊
