You can selfboost on the boxes on b site mirage. When you get stuck in the corner between the boxes and the wooden board in a specific angel and keep runing, you sometimes slide up. You can jump after a few seconds, which is high enough to climb on the box
I personally loved playing the b box pixel boost on mirage with an AWP. Get a pick and throw a quick molly by the window/ van drop area. But I'll admit, that angle shouldn't exist unless you're boosted.
What do you mean by a jump bug? I'd love to learn this if it's silent.. I loved that spot but now it's a difficult jump with a max velocity run up, basically nerfed to fuk for solo play
Redesign spots to have skill jumps that dont involve pixels. This way, the possibility that these jumps are doable, are pretty much obvious to completely new players.
I often took the role of the mirage ct solo b player during ct setups stacking mid or a. Removing the boost does take away a cheeky angle but there are still so many other ways to defend b. But it does suck not being able to be dynamic and going up and down without a boost. Manageable in team play, but not for solo queue matchmaking
The position on overpass is fine, it's a skill jump, Ts can hold the cross and you can easily check the position walking by. The one on mirage is just broken, it's impossible to spot and hard to deal with, pretty happy you need a mate to boost, I'd like to see it removed completely
The "unfair"/frustrating aspect of the boost is still there, you can still play the position. I don't like the idea of needing another player for a lot of spots, if they thought it was too usable or easy, then I think they should have somehow made it a movement based jump instead. In my mind using another player to boost should only be a requirement for certain spots and should just be the easier alternative to most spots.
Valve should take out the entire bench area next, B site is too annoying and time consuming for me to clear and I think I could go pro in cs2 with this change.
I admit that I love using the mirage boost, even though it's really unfair in my opinion. Good thing they removed it

You can still self boost on overpass. You either jump from 1st set of stairs or jump bug on the barrel.
While that might be true, you can no longer do the jump silently :(

I think removing angles is the opposite of making the site more diverse to play
I love this spot bc its pretty much the only spot in any fps that makes me feel like i need to duck my head to see under the green tarp lol

The overpass one is actually still possible, although much harder. With the right angle and timing, you can jump from the stairs to the boost.
I think making these OP angles boost only balences them out. Good change👍
you can jb onto the ovp connector one. jb gives you more height in cs2.
I think they also got rid of the self-boost on mirage A-site's triple box. I was trying to make the jump in a match the other day and wasn't able to.
It is still possible, but jump crouches in this game are straaange feeling. Sometimes the jump takes a few tries

100% should still be positions but require a boost to do which was the best outcome for these unfair spots

You can still do the overpass boost by yourself. But you need to hit quite a hard jump from the stairs to get on the barrel.
the overpass one is still possible, you just jumpbug from the stairs. much lower consistency than crouchjumping your way up though.
You can do the Overpass one if you jump off the stairs, it's kinda hard to get though because they added those metal bars above you.
I don't really like these spots, but I do think some should stay as cool legacy spots.
