We suffered from high-functioning loneliness and depression our whole lives. We lived different lives in different states, but when we met, we realized we were struggling with common issues that reflected an important problem in our young adult generation. We didn’t know who we were, what we were passionate about, what we should live for, and what direction our lives were “supposed” to go. We spent a lot of time wandering in search of that magical ‘answer’ that will solve all problems (like I’m sure most of you are doing right now), and yet the further we searched outside, the more pronounced the emptiness inside of us felt.
Millions of people suffer silently from mental health related issues. Yet our society still places taboos around openly talking about relevant mental health topics like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. As a result, our young adults don’t know how to talk about it constructively, where to turn to, or what resources they have to combat this real-life threat to their wellbeing.
We credit Brain Education for giving us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want...and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.

One technique I find useful for bringing the mind into the body, is to focus on the sensation in my hands and feet. They have tons of nerve endings, plenty of sensory information for the brain to listen to and quiet other thoughts.
Through training I eventually reached the point where I can tap into that 'awareness' without having to think about it- like you said in the video this is possible at any time, like while driving. My meditation practice has improved dramatically since learning that foundational concept! I'll experiment with the dot method this week instead :)

Usually when I do meditation, I practice detaching my mind from thought and let it become still. Once I'm able to stop being distracted by words, I usually start to travel to deeper levels where my mind starts creating visuals and I feel a really strong release of tension and a release of wasteful thought processes. Anchoring your mind to something like breathing is a good technique because it helps the mind stop wandering so much but usually once the wandering is under control, you can let go of the anchor and let the mind freely do whatever it wants. I just wanted to share my experience a bit! This subject has always been a deep passion of mine so I always love connecting with others who do it as well.
I have cancer in my colon and I find whenever I meditate the pain seems to leave me alone, I thought you should know that, kamsamnada 😂 yay

Love this. Thank you. When you say dot, the size doesn't matter right? I imagined my dot to be pinkie size :) . Also the dot always ended up between my eyes unknowingly, its like my brain is telling me thats the place it should be.
The size doesn't matter- the dot between your eyes probably means your third eye is being activated!

Let me suggest the Wim Hof method. There are a number of videos about it here on youtube. Cold exposure is supposed to do wonders for inflammation. Ice bathing for the win!
I am allergic & disturbing me very often. I came to know that it happens because of leaky gut .

Hey Gary, try to focus that dot onto one point instead of having it wander from place to place. You'll find your meditation more effective!

My dot was pulsating the brain waves were moving I've been meditating daily for a little over a year now

Hey Glendon, it means your energy is circulating in your body- which is a GREAT sign! Keep growing that sensation. If it just feels like a dot now, try growing it into a circle, then a ball, then bigger until it encapsulates your whole body.
try to let it go. It is not about physical or body expressions. It is purification, energy flow, but it doesnt matter. Focus on your technique. Whatever your mind brings up for distractions (and this is a distraction) you should not go into it, and focus on your technique, until there are all distractions eradicated.

I wanted to ask, does the dot have to be two inches below the navel, or can you place the dot somewhere else (solar plexus) and focus on that position?
