That was me before getting addicted to AA devices and rechargeable cells. I never have to charge them since i can bulk charge the batteries and just plug new one's in when the other dies. They are sometimes even cheaper than battery inbeded devices because no one else wants them, its so cool.
Honestly my main hangup is how insanely scuffed industry standard wireless connections protocols are, sure it's gotten better - but for keyboard and mouse I don't really mind having wired anyways and I like the simplicity of "it just works guarunteed", stuff like the newer Playstation controllers are the only thing that really benefits in my opinion.
Fruit is having the same problem RTGame had, you have to use the Nintendo branded cable that came with the controller or it won’t charge. It’s a racket, you’d think since they went with usb-c you’d be able to use whatever cable.
