I just spent a week on Lake Superior. No cell service, no TV, no radio. I read 3 books, knit, crocheted and put puzzles together with other people at the lodge we stayed at. So relaxing.

Any dog is good as long as it is raised correctly. It is the owner that makes the dog bad if it is mistreated. I am an animal lover. I believe all animals are meant to be good and our fur babies. ♥️
I love your camping adventure. Reminds me of my young childhood, we got a tv when I was 10 and didn't get much on it. It will be so much fun with your family. It will be such good memories for your kids. I love memories of game night and quiet reading and playing outdoor. Computers, cell phones, and game systems did not exist.

I love pit bulls so much. We just had to say goodbye to our lab/pit mix and he was the best dog ever. Pit bulls are just big giant babies and they’re so sweet. ❤❤

Oh honey! I am so sorry you are sick. I hope you have a wonderful time camping. I as a child grew up spending my summers in the mountains glamping and then as a mom my kids and I got to actually camp in a tent. My grandsons love it and wenting camping as they could growing up between school and work. Just something about getting out in the fresh air and trees (and bugs lol) just seems to calm you down. I personally think it has to do with all the electronics in our lives that mess with our own electrical impulses in our brains and chemistry. But then again I am a weird old woman (my kids will tell you) lol. When we were not in the mood to go camping we would just hop in the car and go someplace in the mountains, stopping here and there to get out and see things. We would bring food and come home late in the evening. It promoted such harmony between us. I agree with you about the fading on the blanket, it sounds amazing! Oh dear I have done it again! 😲I am sorry! I will go away now

Your blanket is going to be really cool when it's all combined!! I like how you're doing it! I really want to see how it comes out. I might try it too!! We used to camp all the time when I was growing up too. Camping was how we could afford to take a vacation away from home with us 5 kids! My parents were good penny pinchers!! I think it was because they were both farm kids that grew up through the depression. We all have so many fun things to remember!! For my kids, I was able to give them our yearly family reunions, where we camped, did a huge canoe trip, cooked out and potlucked. Many nights sitting and sharing about our lives and reminisced about times we all had spent with our grandparents with all of our cousins joining in around the campfire. The younger and therefore gullible kids would join in on a yearly snipe hunt!!...lol

I love your commitment to the animals in your life! We have only had rescued dogs and cats in our household. And only 2 of them were puppies. The older dogs get overlooked so easily.

I feel that all breeds of dogs behave good or bad depending on how they are raised by their owners. I have a relative that has a pit bull that was the sweetest most obedient dog I have had in contact with in my life.
It's nice to have a break from the big crochet items etc, and just make small fun items sometimes, like ur hats and things you showed on Sunday 🙂 the blanket you're making now is pretty 🙂

I had 3-4 migraines a month from age 12-48. After hysterectomy that went to 4 times a year. Then at 51 after double mastectomy it’s only twice a year!
I’m an Aug 10th girl (60).
Poor sweet dog, she has to be so confused at this point! All of our cats & dogs for the past 35 years have showed up wherever we’ve lived. Right now we have 4 doggos aged 14, 12, 10, & youngest is same age as Bentley! Landry was born 9/10 & will be 2, of course he’s the opposite size of Bentley 5.9 lbs🐶
All dog breeds are lovable & want to give love! It’s the humans that can be awful 🙄

i bought some shirts a few years back and i loved them i wish they had a online store. if you put a piece of wax paper on bottom of pan when making cakes or baking it wont stick.i love love cheesecake.your blanket is beautiful.i love hearing you talk about juju and her boyfriend.you are a great great mom.

Pitties are great dogs! Very loyal and protective, that's why the people with bad intentions keep them, sadly the good traits is what has given them a bad rep because of the bad people! It's still new and early in her relationship, wait till a few months when he relaxes a bit and if he is putting on his true colors will start emerging, I hope he is being genuine! Wow, that boyfriend sounds awesome. You are lucky Jen. My 23 yr old son has met some very messed up girls. He has a great girlfriend now. She sounds very mature for a young adult these days. I will pray for her. I homeschooled my kids til high school. It is worth it. One of my sons tried school earlier, but it didnt work for him. He was nonverbal and is autistic. ❤

Oh no , Llama Mama Kayla and Jody are sick with sore throats too and I was sick last week, what NOW? These viruses need to just stop.🙏🏼Oooo love the blanket, such a happy blanket, looking forward to seeing the finished product. I can relate I suffered with severe migraines since I was 5 until I was 50 and once I went thur menopause they stopped. Yes a dark , cold, quiet place and I would stay there for days, with pain and vomiting, terrible time in my life. If I mentioned a headache coming on my household would panic because they knew mom was down for the count. I never understood how people would say they were having a migraine and continued to function, I thought wow I must be such a wimp because I had even thought about suicide a couple of times and went to the doctors and they acted like I was a drug seeker, this was over 30 years ago before they had all these great meds for migraine. So my heart goes out for anyone who suffers with migraines. God bless, be safe and get well♥Yep I'm using Super Saver Ombre at this very moment and I've had to tape my fingers because it felt like the yarn was sawing my fingers off. Thank goodness I'm 3/4 of the way through making this throw.♥Ahhh Ellie, she has a sweet, sweet face. Oh Jen you are making my mouth water, my sister-in-law always made me a cheesecake for Christmas YUM, but this year it wasn't up to par, it was sugar free because she decided to quit using sugar in her house, now I'm sad because what ever she uses was yucky to me. So that sort of like you having to eat a marble cake on your birthday, lol.

I could just sit and watch you crochet for hours. I love watching an artist at work, doing something that makes her feel settled and content. I love listening to you. And I love camping. Started with tents, pop up, 18 ft, 32 ft and now 23 ft. We will be going away for 4 days, 3 days and 4 days. Which is only using 5 vacation days. We take are 2 cats too.

Throat tea always makes my throat feel better. Allergies season never goes away for me. I'm like my dad. We both suffer with allergies all year long. Next time you go to Trader Joe's get you some ginger candy. It will help when you have a tummy ach or when you feel like your getting sick. I just suck on them and it helps. Man your drinking that b tea really good, I'm gonna make me some. 😂🤣Hope you feel better.🤗

Jen, you should look into the Daith piercing for migraines. I have numerous friends & family members who have gotten these & they have helped with their migraines.
