      like this is true, my step-dad was a Werder Bremen Fan when they were still a good team and they had just won the Bundesliga, out of spite I became a Bayern Fan and it stayed that way, worked out better for me in the end 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

    Not a power house in 1971? In 1970 they became the first English club to win domestic and European trophies in the same season. Does anyone know the history of City or do they just parrot lies from twitter from Surrey Utd and Liverpool fans?

    Gallagher senior took Noel to his first game at Maine Road in 1971 and when growing up he experienced the drudgery of Man City never winning anything for the next 4 decades lol.He said Thanks for making me a City fan dad.

  • @Dude0000
    @Dude0000 Месяц назад

    4:21 Aguero was a ‘moment’. Leicester was a a season of lesser moments, and the only club who were decent were Spurs. Pep’s first season, Klopp just taken over etc etc.
    The only thing close to City that year was Arsenal needing to win by 2 at Anfield to go above them on goal difference and/or goals scored. They scored their 2nd in the 92nd minute, back when injury time was 2-3 mins. So both cases, they won with league with pretty much the last kick of the season. Only Arsenal’s was against the current champions, in one of the most iconic grounds in the world, against the team that they were up against for the title. City’s was against QPR who had already been relegated, albeit had some really good players. They did what Chelsea are doing today.
    A 1-0 loss for Liverpool would’ve won them the title. That’s what probably helped Arsenal, as if Liverpool needed to win, like Arsenal, the mentality would’ve been different. Or even draw, but to be able to lose, that’s dangerous psychologically. City knew only a win would win them the title. Plus Liverpool won the title the year before, and the years after, but that was their last one until 19/20, 30 years later.
    Ironically, United won the title the season after losing that one in the last second, (and the season before, too) like Liverpool, and now haven’t won it for 11/12 years, and don’t look like they can for at least 3-5 at best. Liverpool’s and United’s dominance and the end of their dominance mirror each other almost perfectly. Wonder if City will do the same.
