Mrs. Carter was so gracious, beautiful and kind. I was so proud and happy to meet them. Mrs. Carter will be sorely missed.

The carpool with high schoolers was a ten mile ride, I got old radio series shows and audible books. This instead of having to listen to morning radio. shock jocks were all the rage. One of our first books was Rosalyn Carter reading her First Lady from Plains. Thought I was flattering myself for a good choice…but no….they loved the book. I made the kids ask before automatically turning it on. She has such a lovely lilt to her voice, a gentle wisdom, and of course, their love story. Other parents said there was a discernible new interest in reading, and in autobiography after we read that book in our commute to school. She left an impression. Luckily, we can Search for Rosalyn Carter. She was interviewed on many topics, caregiving most recently. Look to podcasts and radio, everybody who was anybody had her as a guest. Always interesting and engaging. Respected always, keep the memory of her alive. Teach our kids her wonderful story.
I so pray for Jimmy Carter. He and Rosalind were Children of God. We all could beg for the same example. He looks so bad. He and she were good down to earth people.
