@@iainsanders4775 So you live almost as far from London as possible, I am sure London has changed a great deal since the 90's, I wonder what you think of it xx
@@PemDanis It was 1989 actually! I think it was probably more relaxed then..? No street-dwellers, less street crime, nobody wore black! On New Year's Day morning 1990 I passed Charles Gray who played the Bond villain Blofeld, standing on the steps of his house dropping rubbish into his bin, wearing a great tan safari suit with perfectly matching shoes. As he surveyed the scene his long pointed nose twitched as though it didn't like the smell of the incoming decade.. .🙂 Maybe he wasn't too far wrong anyway..!
Ah the iconic Buckingham Palace, not been inside there for years but some of the inside was shown on a TV program on BBC Four few weeks ago did you watch it/if not sure yo ucan find it on catch up-forgot name of it at the mo. Why was there yellow hard bits on the cream before you used the knife??? Wasn't like that when I last had it there or when I saw people having it on TV etc

The Eagle & Crown is the Royal Air Force (RAF) emblem, and the statues are airmen from Bomber Command.
