Day 2 is about adventure. The very reason why i visited Vietnam is to experience Sand Dunes (yup my first time)..
Again for convenience i joined a tour group to make things less complicated - logistically.. (Thanks to Johnny tours)..
Started the tour from 8:30am and ended it around 10:30pm! (its a long day!!)
From Ho Chi Minh to Mui Ne (3.5hrs away) I was able to ride again this very cozy sleeper bus (see in the photos), making the long trip seems so bearable..
After arriving at Mui Ne i met this British guy - Ryan!, who I joined with on the jeep going to the sand dunes together with our local driver.. It was fun doing the trip with him and learning stuffs about his lifestyle and travels.. He is currently Travelling the whole world FULL TIME for more than a year now.. (mapapaSanaOL ka nlng tlga!), so me being the curious guy, asked him about how’s the day to day looks like, how did me managed to sustain it.. and the best country he visited so far.. it was an interesting convo and on my thoughts it kinda spark again a new way of living.. thats it possible to do so. Also, I guess that’s one of the reason why I enjoy travelling now - meeting nomads and like minded people who understands me full well on my travel addictions..
I also met another family all the way from where I am based - Singapore!.. Hello @christina, Derrick and their lovely daughter Averlynn, being with Singaporeans makes me feel at home, coz im always surrounded by my Singaporean colleagues in the office. We shared dinner together, and it was a delight as well listening to their stories..
The sand dunes experience was fun, and thrilling at the same time.. the Quad bike expedition will take your breath away (Literally!!) for how fast they drive those bikes.. but it was fun nonetheless..
Lastly our tour operator Johnny Tours - i highly recommend them, even tho our trip was delayed for lunch they make sure that we will have something to eat before starting the activity.. our guide Mr.Ly was fully hands on as well…sharing some trivia and taking our photos non stop! And also Mr.Johnny the owner itself was chatting us before the trip just to make sure that all else is in order (See link below for the link)..
Will I do this activity again? Yes definitely..
