Genuinely our biggest takeaway has been the people, we've met so many amazing humans (that often have so little) but all they wanted was for us to have the most amazing trip!

Definitely book the breakfast 1 - it's actually massive, the best buffet breakfast we had on the whole trip 2 - there really isn't much around for breakfast, in fact, possibly nothing! It's all very small Vietnamese places
Vietnam is the only South East Asia country that has desert sand hills in the region. Enjoy the fun.
