Been happening since long before the words climate and change were even invented. Other words predated by the changes are dam*, It, is, hot, out, and here. I'm sure there are a lot of other words that hadnt been invented yet but I wont live long enough to list them all and I dont think it matters what we do until then, the sun will still come up the day after I'm done and you wont be able to control how much radiation it will produce that day. Might I suggest you begin thinking about how to cool your house when there is no energy to run even a swamp cooler. Been there, done that and I hope to never have to live that way again. Lots of people have no clue what it is like to suffer day after day of August with no way to cool yourself but dig a deep hole and sleep in the dirt. No es bueno!

In Detroit, we had one of the largest national home manufactures (Pulte Homes) offer to tear down 40,000 homes slated for demolition for free. The mayor said no and then started paying those on the Friends and Family Program $25,000 per demolished home. Surprise surprise, 2 years into the program people were arrest for taking bribes, falsifying invoices and dumping hazardous waste in the holes instead of clean fill. And just to put a cherry on top, they tore down a few homes that were not on the list.

Well the problem is not what folks think it is. Imagine driving your car with a blind fold, on a road that you have never been on. It's hard to answer the question they way we are asking them. I am a very conservative climate change person. Doing nothing is not the answer. But that is what we will do because of conversation like this.

Seems like most of these people in the Dept. of Energy don't really know what is going on. Someone needs to monitor them. In any large for-profit US corporation. They do basic studies of COST, benefits, and ROI. These folks don't seem to know about that. Corporations need FACTS before spending their money. Why do these US Federal Energy employees not know? What a waste of time for every tax dollar they are spending when they come to Congress without real facts and the costs, benefits analysis, and ROI.
