Scratch built ! Simply breath taking to consider the time and effort that has gone into creating this.

My hats off to that guy.
The builder, Ian Turney White, has done a fantastic job on this half scale. I love the use of rudder on landing, just like the real aeroplane !! Way to go Ian !!
50% scale anything is incredible. This model is beyond awesome. My hat's off to the builder. (from an 85 year old ex-lifetime modeler)
What a gorgeous plane, it’s so realistic
Come back in the Community !😅
This plane has got to be in the top three of best looking RC planes in the World.
OUTSTANDING!!!! An Absolutely beautiful model! Well done!
Amazing, incredible, beautiful, brilliant, wonderful. Very nice ! Congratulations to the builder.
What a gorgeous model if we can use this word.Perfect realistic fight. Sincere congrats and cheers from France!
Thank you! Cheers!
Brilliant model, expertly flown by a wonderful gentleman. I'm so crushing on that model, definitely a labor of love many hours building it. Flies beautifully. Thanks for sharing.
Couldn't agree more!
Excellent job of modeling a rare, historically important airplane. I loved the flight and how the landing gear absorbed little bounces as they rolled her in ! Thanks.
I replayed the few seconds from 2:25 several times, as the takeoff run started, just to watch the suspension working.
That is a beautifully built British Bulldog. It looks so real. Well done the builder. Fantastic work.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
Very Cool Plain
What a beautiful plane! Ought too have a radialengine. 🙂
Find a spare £5K and maybe 😆
Does anybody make an RC scaled radial that is that large??
Great to see that fine old model still going :)
Absolutely awesome
A so well flown piece of art!
Cudowny model !
I gratulacje dla modelarza, który go zbudował ...
👍✌️🛩️🍾👋
Quite incredible!
Amazing,what a beautifull,build,flown and...filmed plane,awesome job,thanks for sharing Dom,you are the best!!
Thank you so much 👍
Really enjoy these large scale plane videos.
More to come!
Wow, that could be used in a movie it looks so real. It even has a realistic flying behavior, hats off to the builder.
It was, they used it in the documentary about Douglas Bader, the gentleman said in the beginning of the video. It's a good documentary and worth a watch. Cheers.
So true if it flew over your house you would just think it was a full sized plane
@@bernardusjones9814 I missed that, thanks.
Lovely model. Good filming in the conditions.
It really flew well, nice job maybe the best job!
Great piloting. Scale flying in a scale manner is not easy!
Wow That's absolutely beautiful 👍👍👍👍
Beautifully flown.
Beautiful looking model beautifully fown. Loved the video.
Simply amazing brilliant build.
Awesome!
That's beyond beautiful...some serious skill went into that beauty and the amount of detail fits a plane that size...would love to fly that myself call me jealous😂...great video Dom
That is awesome. I hate watching the models that are so fast that the scale speed is like Mach 2. This looks like the real thing up there. Nice!
Perfektes Modell!
Gorgeous aircraft!! Cheers!
That's a beautiful machine.
Half scale! Amazing aircraft.
Brilliant!
very nice
Thanks
Stall speed slower than I can walk. Is that a full radial engine ?. Just gorgeous aircraft and humble builder. Halcyon days . Thanks playmates. Dave
Complete credit to the builder/pilot.
Wow!
FromvAlabama USA. Enjoy European large scale Flying machines.
50 % scale is insane
Absolutely amazing! ( but I have to wonder if, after all the effort and cost, why not make one full size to fly in ?) 😉👍
Playedd golf rwice with Sir Douglas & Lady Bader. Film is “Reach for the skies “ if memory serves.
He said the film was made 5 or 6 years ago by the BBC. Reach For The Skies came out in 1956 and was made by Rank.
Reach For The Sky with Kenneth More as Douglas Bader.
Yup. Fantastic film.
This outstanding model has got to have a proper radial.....it belittles a great model....otherwise beautifully crafted and flown congratulations. 😊😊😊🏴
Ok so where should he get one with the right power and weight? Just waltz down to Custom Radials R Us and pick one out? There is no such engine in existence. Or perhaps he should buy a machine shop and learn the tool and die trade and design and make one because his effort in building this fabulous model is not impressive enough for some in the comment section? Good grief.
@@sblack48 it's an observation that would have made this fantastic model complete...not meant as a critical statement.
@@Hywel-g3r you observed that he should gave powered his model with an engine that doesn’t exist
Gorgeous airplane! Very scale. What is the little propeller driven device on the lower right wing?
The Bulldog.
The plane that Douglas Bader lost his legs in!
Tempting very tempting....
❤❤❤❤
Needs a beefier sound imo, but that aircraft would cost a fortune!
Awesome model. Great footage. I thought that the pilot was going to ground loop it🤔😲😲
The Bulldog shall forever be linked with DB's crash. Iirc RAF pilots were banned from low level aeros in them. In the film (Reach For The Sky - 1956) they show DB (giving into ego after being goaded into doing aeros) doing a low level roll in the Bulldog - with a torturously slow descending roll/rate - as he goes into the ground upside down.
Fantastic RC replica. Who makes a half scale 9 cylinder radial engine?
Does the model have a real functioning 8 cyl rotary engine ?
Or are those cylinders just for show ?
How many servos does this plane have?
Sorry to ask but 50% would be 15ft long? So how does the scale work
I wonder why it couldn't loop, just a few wig overs? Is it because the engine hasn't got the power to pull such a large model through the manoeuvre?
Nonetheless, it is a superb model - IMHO, one of the best I've ever seen. 👍
Talvisodan ensimmäinen ilmavoitto saatiin tällä konetyypillä. Viimeinen yksilö on museoituna Kuoreveden Hallissa museossa.
I often heard said in my youth that - Britain nearly went to war in Biplanes.
But what is never mentioned is - Italy DID....
What is the engine?
Для карлика подойдëт😁
What is the real scale?
I think they built the original by referring to this model...!
So what is it - he asks.
The World is full of bloody extremely ignorant people
This model isn't half scale! Maybe 1/5th scale!
Thick i would put a seat in it and let the 3yo fly it.
Doesn't look 50% scale ?
I was thinking that,it would be 15ft long at least
If you really know your planes there would be no blurr..
2 stroke😂
I really don’t get it… If you like planes this much, you could just as easily build a plane you could FLY IN.
Join a long list of folks who think same and are wrong for so many reasons
+
It's not a model. It's a 1:1 dwarf size plane.
