When I was younger I used to think 72 Minutes of Fame, One, and 148 are a trilogy. Before I realized that there were albums in between them. But they fit together nicely. 72 Minutes is the jamming, but also moments of sadness and thoughtfulness. One is the peace. Most of it is. The mbiras mixed with chiptune create a sound that's not common, but very pleasant to the ear. Finally, 148 is letting out all the emotions. The heavy, housey, drum and bassy tracks all together in this very big pack of songs that are actually meant to be danced to. That's why I love C418. Every single album of his is somehow different, takes you to a different place in space and time, and sometimes to multiple places on the same album. And these three albums are just the tip of the iceberg of C418's huge, experimental discography. It is awesome.
My thoughts on each song: 1. Semantic Satiation The perfect intro song that works best when combined with the two songs following it. Wouldn't work as well if it were on it's own or if it were... say... in the middle of the album, but definitely the right song to start things off. 8.5/10 2. Septic Shock The middle part of the intro triad, and arguably the weakest. It's not bad by any means, but it feels more like a reprise of Semantic Satiation than anything else, and it doesn't do much of it's own. 8/10 3. Seismic Stratigraphy My favorite of the three intro songs. This one is definitely more musically diverse than its predecessors, and it works better on it's own than the other two. That being said, it still definitely works best when listened to alongside its brothers. Bonus points for having more lyrics than just "I don't need you to agree with me." 8.5/10 4. Droopy Remembers A vaporware mashup of "Droopy Likes Your Face" and "Droopy Likes Ricochet." This is a song that I feel most probably skip over, as it really only serves to follow up the climactic intro trilogy. Personally, this is one of my favorites and I definitely think it's worth a listen. 9/10 5. Kompass For whatever reason, this song makes me really nostalgic for summertime. I dont think this song is bad by any means, but it is one I tend to skip over if I dont have time to listen to the whole album. This song does have a tendency to get repetitive however, and it does pull the whole "end of song fake out" thing more than a few times. 7.5/10 6. 185 Another personal favorite. This song does get incredibly repetitive, but I ADORE the drum samples used here. It starts out as a sort of carry on of Kompass, but it quickly deviates to it's own thing. Really good song, but one that you can't listen to if you get bored easily. 9/10 7. Jimtention Zelda's Lullaby, anyone? Another song I usually skip over, though only because it's sandwiched in between two of my favorites. This song starts out sounding like Zelda's Lullaby until a few minutes in, where the song comes to a halt, only to pick up again soon after. After this, it gets f u n k y. This song does drag on for a bit longer than I'd like, but its length is nowhere near as daunting as 185's. 7.5/10 8. Tsuki no Koibumi 2 Even as someone who doesnt know Japanese, this song is excellent. It seems to get better every time I listen to it, and it transitions perfectly with both Jimtention and Friend. The song gets especially good once the vocals kick in. One of my personal favorites, and one I definitely recommend listening to instead of skipping. Needs to be a Minecraft disc. 9.5/10 9. Friend My second favorite song on the album, and one of my favorites by C418 as a whole! This song was written by Daniel for his followers on Twitter that "hated him but still insisted on following him anyway." Out of all the songs on the album, this one has some of the most emotion behind it and is DEFINITELY worth a listen. This song works even better as the successor of TnK2. Also needs to be a Minecraft disc, and is one of the most underrated songs by C418 as a whole. 9.75/10 10. Vierton This song is one of the three Minecraft remixes in the middle of the album. I don't really care for this one as much as the others as there isnt much to keep the listener there. It's mostly a slower version of Dreiton with a beat applied. Works well as background music in my opinion, but I usually skip this one. 6/10 11. Aria Economy Another Minecraft + dance beat remix. Better than the first one, but still not much to keep you there. Not much to say about this one compared to the first. 6.5/10 12. Biome Party The third Minecraft Dance remix, but the best one by far. Not only is the beat more in your face, but the music is much more noticeable. 7.5/10 13. 481772 A really obscure track, but a nice in your face track after the three chill ones before it. One of my favorites, although most skip this song. 8.5/10 14. Ample Time One of the more forgettable tracks on this list. Not bad, just doesnt leave much to remember it by. Not one I listen to all the time. 7.5/10 15. Habitual Crush Another one of my favorites and totally NOT from relatability. Definitely worth a listen and the track gets bigger and better as it goes on. It's a song you have to see all the way through. You cant stop listening halfway through. 8.75/10 16. Divide by Four Add Seven This song isnt bad, but it is definitely another forgettable one. I don't listen to this one as much as the one preceding it, mainly due to just wanting to get to the next song already. 17. Round up to the Inevitable End This song is the best on the album in my opinion. Not only is it the big climactic finale of this hour and a half long work of art, but it is also just an absolute banger on it's own. Do NOT skip this song. Words can't describe the feeling of happiness when you finally reach this song after the rest of the album. 10/10 18. Beta Another Minecraft remix, and my favorite by considerable margin. It is a good song in it's own right, though I do think it wouldve fared better if it had been placed with the other remixes, instead of kind of tacked on after the big finale song. 8.25/10 19. 841 The outro song and nothing else. 7/10 End of Album
Wow, thanks for making this! I always enjoy reading people's ratings of C418's music. This album is amazing, and my four favorite tracks in it are Round Up to the Inevitable End, Friend, Tsuki No Koibumi 2 (which I feel is kind of slept on, so I'm glad you like it a lot), and Habitual Crush, and I'm glad you had pretty positive opinions on all of these.

C418's "Friend" has quite a meaning to me as an individual with severe BPD and the splitting aspect of social relationships :\
Friend is another good song, it's pretty catchy.
