Conservator's Corner: Liz Homberger

Conservator's Corner is a new series devoted to exploring the care and research of the Detroit Institute of Art's collection. For our third edition, we have Elizabeth Homberger, Objects Conservator at the DIA, virtually welcoming us to the objects lab. Elizabeth walks us through the process of installing "Bowl with Folds" - a sculpture created by Ursula von Rydingsvard. Check out the sculpture the next time you’re in Detroit! It’s installed in our outdoor sculpture garden, on the campus of the College for Creative Studies, across the street from the DIA.
