- D Livin - Why.
Excellent 1992 track from D Livin, and definitely a pre cursor to the Jungle genre before it really kicked off. First heard this played out at Elevation, Roller Express towards the end of the summer of 92. Good times !!!
This was my 1st vinyl record i bought back in 92/93 from blackmarket records
Black market and camden market on a sunday morning.....so many of my tunes came from there back in the day..... ❤🕊
still listening in 2024 :)
Hahahahah definitely mate!
Gotta be done 👍🏾

Wrecking bass bins since 92.
I heard DJ Ron wallop this at Tasco and it’s had me obsessed ever since ❤
Fell asleep and I was searching for it in my dream. How mad. Woke up and had to be played
This could easily have been made yesterday, still as fresh and vibey as the day it was made ❤️👌
Totally unique tune this, never gets old.
Can listen to this tune over and over again still, 31 years later
ANTHEM!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
If ya know ya know! 👊🏾👍🏾👊🏾

Yep! 101% - I was shocked when I heard that one for the very first time on 31st of January, 1993.
absolutely slamming, totally agree 100% :D
@Cobain Lynott Marciano Flint nothing more to say.
Dj Ron played this at a stush reunion about 3 years back and 5.0 had to tell him to wheel it back no less than 4 times!!!
It smashed the dance to absolute pieces

As Top Buzz would have said -“jungle jungle jungle techno”. This tune was WAY ahead of its time. Remember it being blasted out by the pirates , summer 92.
Weekend Rush 92.3😊
Jeeeeeeeeze! Third year in school 1992! Anthem! Weekend Rush 92.3 / Kool FM 94.5 / Defection 88.6 or 89.4? lol. . been so long/ Pulse FM m8! Back in the days!

@alfaomega5532 g Clubs will soon be a thing of the past sadly ! Early 90s were a amazing time to be young and raving and misbehaving We were the lucky ones
This tune is and was so ahead of its time. It paved the way for jungle. Big up DJ Eclipse 90.6 Pulse.
Boss DJ!! Yeah man big up DJ Eclipse!! 90.6FM was the part of the foundation movement!
One of the slickest, most respected tracks of its era! Pretty rare, but simultaneously very well known and respected. Pirates used to blow up on this one!!
Massive ❤🎉❤🎉
It almost sounds like a 2step track, like something that would come out 8 years later. Wild.
An absolute stone cold classic and one of those tunes that paved the progression of Hardcore to Jungle
Beautifully said. I loved that traditional phase the most.
Oh my days. What an absolute tune. Massive track back in the day. Even now it makes your quiff stand on edge!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Massively mate!!!!!

Samples Michael jackson - Can't let her get away
From 1992 and still sounding fresh!! Just pressed replay. Fat choon!
Bass line is ridiculous 😍
Just had to reload this 4 times on you tube bruv.... stone cold classic
Absolute banger. Master class in sampling and production, for the time.
they used 2 samplers. and obv. the records speeded up. master class ? i'd reserve to a few others who REALLY stretched the 950 in dollis hill NW london.. they'd bounce stuff out to DAT then bounce it back in
Only time i heard this was on a Colin Faver mix on Green Apple back in the day & now finally sourced it,cheers! 🤖🙌🏼😅
bought this last month off discogs, one o my most sought after tunes and finally got it. costme 36 quid but some of em were up for 60!

Yep!! This tune has Hackney all over it. All the pirates operating there at the time, from Kool, Defection to Weekend Rush FM. Miss those days. Big up the Club Labyrinth Crew!!!!
You know....
Still listening to this beauty in 2021
Whoa yeah, a proper anthem! This will still smash a dance up, and I don't think you'll find a proper hardcore raver from our era (90's, the best era, lol) who doesn't love this riddim! I'm screwing that I never bought this back then, and can't justify the ridiculous prices the original press goes for now.....damn! Thank fuck for RUclips!
Rocket Holloway Rd, bass in the chest, trouser legs shaking
Haven't heard this in years! I had no idea who it was by and RUclips came up with it 😁
Proper early 90s love it
true story.. a few years after this made, I got the sampler that was used to make it fixed. they were just 2 dudes I knew of, via someone else.. didn't realise they'd made this also.
what sampler was it? guessing one of the akai s-series
@@xsm5525 900 IRC.. not a 950.. as I was used to seeing 950's more
Had a song in my head that goes ' why tell me why ' , my friend sent me a link trying to help me find it.
It was the wrong tune , but what a pleasant surprise. Never realized how much I missed this tune , a proper club classic.
kdossantos74 Could you be thinking of the tell me why by Rachael Wallace?
Rampage - Why?
that was what I was thinking :D
Always good times at elevation at the roller...this ones a personal fav and absolutely next level
Been looking for this for time! Kenny Ken used to rinse this! Nice one Mickey.
It’s been decade’s since I heard this tune Jeeze

It's quadrupled since then to the comment below,I wish it was £27.00 it's a banging choon which influenced the drum & bass scene no doubt
hearing right now..first time since 20 years ago..FUCKING CHILLZ UP MY BACK
R.I.P. Randall
I wonder if the OG DAT of this still exists somewhere. The test presses were much cleaner than the release version.
