Orient, like Seiko, produces watches in several different factories. Similarly, the more expensive watches tend to be made in Japan, while the more affordable models are primarily made outside of Japan. With Orient all the movements are fully made in Japan, including for this particular model.
With Japanese watches there's always some tiny detail that ruins the design/balance, but I think they may have got everything just right with this one
