    It's hard to get comfortable with low notes after a high part of a song... Then it feels like my voice is breaking as I get lower

    I'm a girl and I love singing but I feel like my voice is too deep for a girl or I just can't sing softly and smoothly like other girls do it's so frustrating 😭 I think my voice isn't pleasant to hear like most of these other girls who do covers . Is that something wrong in me or can it be fixed ??? Thanks

    • @ammabdull
      @ammabdull 6 лет назад +45

      ArissaPlanet first you need to find what is your vocal range which means, how low and high you can go. then find a suitable song for u to sing based on your vocal range.

      Ur not supposed to, if u see pre recorded covers and songs, low notes and high notes r in the same volume but that bcz of production. The best way to sing smoothly is, the higher it is, the louder. Even this video says to sing low notes quietly.

BUT THESE VIDEOS ONLY HAVE FEW VIEWS SOME ARE NOT MORE THAN 500, NOT MORE THAN 3000 just like your videos has low views! I am wondering why. Well, when I was younger I could sing a little bit well and I was shy to sing in front of anyone (including my family) . But rn I'm older, my voice deepend a little too much than my other friends. But I still practised singing and I was finally brave enough to sing in front of my mom. But when she heard me sing along with the songs in my playlist, she said it wasn't that good cuz I'm singing off key. So then she said that while I practice, not only must I listen to the song but I must also hear myself. So then later, I kept practicing real hard. And my mom wants me to sing songs that fit my voice but I tell her that I don't wanna sing songs that are sung by deep voice people, I wanna practice how to use high notes with my voice and sing any song I want. So then I figired out how to sing a bit more better (it's too hard to explain how I'm doing it). So now, my mom and I think I sing better now and one time when I was singing part of the song, "Counting Stars" to my friends at baseball, they all liked it. After that, I thought that I can sing any song I want very well❤️

    I'm a (female) mezzo I believe, so I struggle _big_ time with low notes. It makes singing a lot of my favorite songs of all kinds of genres really hard.. I usually have to alter the pitch I start with so I don't go too low and then it sounds too high or off key :/ Thank you for these tips! My throat feels funny now after trying it some so I think that's a good sign. Like any muscle, it needs workouts, right? Lol. I've never really studied on how to be a better singer, I'm mostly just self taught and listen to what sounds good and what is comfortable to me. So I think now I'll start looking more into lessons and tutorials like this. Thank you!

    When I was younger, I could sing 3.5 octaves even with my damaged vocal cords. Now that I am older, I still want to sing.. high notes are gone. Thank you for this lesson. My low notes have been "gravely" not beautiful for a woman. However, you have not only given me great tips you have also suggested a song to practice. My lows are much better now and I am searching for great performance numbers for contralto voices.

    Personally, I like the low end. I start at my midrange C2 and do descents to F1-D1-B0-G0. My cat's ears go crazy for the last two since I am around purr frequency down there. It's the Oktavist Beat the Piano challenge: I win! I have to keep my voice higher with customers; speaking in octave one can be distracting...
