Shit this is a Hard comparison video to make! Two Excellent speakers from two outstanding audio makers! But i think it's clear overall who won this battle between these two giants and it's definitely the Infinity Kappa speakers! That's just my personal preference because I've owned both. In the end i always come right back to infinity. It's just that nothing sounds quite like them. They have this particular sound characteristic to them that i can't quite describe but it's damn Good! Alpine is my 2nd choice i go for if I'm on the hunt for new speakers.
A whats up man have tested these out before PL6183BK and what do you think about them.
Infinity is more bright sounding alpine is more natural and relaxed and less fatigue (for your ears).Vote to alpine.
If you get the infinity for the heavier bass, just get a DSP in the workflow. You can make them sound however you'd like.
And if you want a truly warm sound, McIntosh uses tubes in their amps I believe. Maybe a few others do but tube amps are amazing.
What would you recommend Alpine type R s65.2 or infinity kappa 6.5 63xf??

Infinity is by far the clear winner here.
If you're going for alpine. For for the Type R's or Type X's
Kappa = Freshness of music
I installed 4 kappa speakers and connected to high end pioneer stereo. The results was way worse than the factory speakers and headunit. The sound was not cleaner and it was distorted especially when I turn the volume up.
What do you this the reason?
The speakers require more power than the stereo can give it. Give them a decent amplifier and they will sing. Most car stereos only put out about 20-25 watts rms, the kappa are rated at 135 rms I believe.
I like the alpine I've had these bad boys installed in 3 of my vehicles throughout the years. I'm feeding them 75 watts CEA certified wattage × 4 ....The kappa is a better sound quality but the alpine mids and highs really open up at high volumes and the bass tones are also great . Tune these bad boys in Correctly and crank em up 4 of these shake my mirror in my truck by themselves .I did ad 4 tweeters and an 10 kicker solo baric in the mix and I get compliments all the time of how good my build sounds loud clear and booming . Not ground shaking of course just quality and loud

The Alpine sounds muddier than the Infinity. You can hear how the Alpine fails to clearly reproduce the guitar in the music. The Infinity is able to reproduce the guitar a lot better. Good all around speaker. Alpine is good and it would be more suitable for hip hop.
not even, the bass on them sucks in an actual door. They just garbage overall speakers even the type R sucks. They arent loud either even with 300 watts rms bridged on tap.
What speaker you think is better let me see if I can do review if you have any thing you like

If you have a thousand watt sub or more. You are definitely going to use the Infinity kappas because with 100 Watts going to the Infinity Kappa. It's going to sound better. A much clearer then that same hundred Watts going to the Alpine. Which will be just about ready to blow. If you play it for a long period of time at the hundred Watts
Not everyone is gonna juice up their speaker like that my guy. Sensitivity and frequency response is more important I'm most occasions
