- From a Oct 16, 2008 concert to benefit You Have The Power in Nashville, TN - the video features vocalist Jonell Mosser singing the classic "Midnight Train to Georgia" with Orleans as the backing band - awesome version in my opinion!
One of the most underrated singers I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to.
There is nothing much I can say. She will go on the list of sadly underrated legends, and will stay in the hearts and mind of all who have been lucky enough to hear her. Stunning.
I've been working with Jonell since the '80s, written dozens of songs with her and still she blows me away. Check our her new CD Little Black Dress. It's a live acoustic recording of us at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock NY. We'll be doing some more shows this fall.
You both are amazing. Would've love to see the show. 🎶
I'm loving "Little Black Dress." You mesh so well, and great guitar work on "That's What I Like" an "Devil's Hand." Come back to DC (You can leave the coat and tie in NY).
@@larrybuxtonleadingwithspir7022 Larry, thanks for you kind words; glad you're enjoying the CD. We'll get to DC as soon as gigs are being booked again.
@@johnhall2023 I have good memories of seeing you at the DC anti-nuke rally (post-Three Mile Island) in 1979 and then the great concert you played at the Bayou later on.
@John Hall- I saw you with Jonell many years ago back in Lexington, KY, you guys blew me away. I've been a longtime fan of both of you for many years. It was as good as it gets seeing you on stage together. Hopefully again in the near future!
And, Jonell dosn't ask for much as far as monitors go. She is so easy to work with. Love you Girl!
the best rendition of this song ever! with thanks
Indeed. How she has not been on major billboards is beyond belief. The girl has the chops
Incredible version! I've always loved jonelle both in the days living in Nashville working together and beyond. I also commend her for being able to keep her concentration with the backup voices so loud in everyone's speaker...ith all due respect to the back up voices and the rest of the band of course, who sounds wonderful too!
Wow!
Excelente eres fantastica
Have loved her voice for many years! And that great laugh :-)
Stop in the Name of Love is her best.

Sorry - but can't remember the percussionist, or other background singers.
@@lbsound Thanks! I knew most of those, but not Riggs. That's helpful.
w h i t e ....that is a WAY to white voice for his tune.
You’re a fucking idiot
Greatness has no color.
fast fwd. 2022 If I'm not mistaken she has a band and still performing .
She's played Dee's Lounge every so often but I seem to never hear about it until the date has passed. I always love running into Jonell around town although that hasn't happened since before the pandemic now that I think about it.
@@ronthesledge have u seen Dees lounge is online ? live shows streaming on you tube? She is on there still ,definitely worth a look
She's a regular at 3rd and Lindsley Nashville. Go check her out!!
