- This video covered how to replace the Hayward GLX-PCB-PRO circuit board for ProLogic pool controllers P-4, PS-4, PS-8 and PS-16. If your controller is giving error “Check System No Cell Power 2” the only fix is to replace the board.
Similar process for AquaLogic and Goldline controllers.

When I came across this video I noted how clearly he spoke and he was replacing the same items I needed to replace. Great video!! Very clear and precise. I ordered and received the parts - display $270 - PCB $725. As I don't see very well, writing the settings vs. taking a pic was most helpful. I'm a woman, mil ret, 60+ age and it took me 56 minutes to remove and replace both units.

Absolutely amazing video. Saved me $500! This is pretty much the same exact steps as GLX-PCB-MAIN Aqualogic. If you are a little adventurous, this is an easy project - about as complicated as installing a new home thermostat. It took me about 45 minutes and over half of that was trying to get the darn plastic pegs into the control display! Also, note I did take a picture of the settings, but didn't know to unlock the configuration settings to get the more detailed setup. So, anyone using this video, make sure you take pictures of the setting in the configuration menu. A little trial and error and I got those setting back on too.

I have a Hayward Pro Logic board that seems to no longer keep the clock at the correct time or it doesn’t run the clock at all. Any idea what components on the board need to be replaced? The whole board costs over $800! I think there’s possibly only 2 components that need to be replaced for around $15.
We have this exact display and just replaced board with your awesome video! We need direction on settings to access the chlorination. Our remote doesn’t seem to be linking and we can’t locate a manual online. Any guidance?
Are you talking about the salt cell settings?
We can’t access the chlorinator in our display after installing the new board.

can someone list where to buy the GLX-PCB-PRO Board ?
I do not have a error message on board. I replaced the breakers and a new motor. The motor runs for an hour or longer and then shuts off. The breakers do not trip. Could this be the e-command 4 problem? Please help.
hi, i have the aquaplus goldline control. i have a problem with my salt reading, it was reading low or very low on my cell, so i figured it was cell going bad this was my second cell in 5 years already, (thats how old pool is) so i put new cell on again ( 3rd cell)and it was reading fine like 3200ppm , (pool place tested salt it was actually like 3600ppm ) which was close , so fine , now a month in a hlf later doing same thing, low or very low salt reading 2100ppm , checked volts and amps in diagnostic mode setting seems fine, no error messages, cell off of course because it thinks salt is low. pool place checked salt again fine 3500ppm. i was thinking it has to be my board, is it frying my sensors in the cell or something. do you think could be board not working right ? getting frustrated...no way on this control board to calibrate salt cell either from what im told. board is set to right t-cell which is t-15 , i checked that too...thanks for any help

I’m assuming you already got that fixed, but it’s always easier to call goldline’s customer service (number is on the inside of the panel). Those boards are really tricky to troubleshoot. I always call the customer service number even if I have to wait 15 mins or more.

Get a Taylor K-1766 Salt Test kit and test the salt level in your pool.
Hey I have Aqua plus GLX-PCB-Pro board that has error no cell power 2. Friend of mine gave me GLX-PCB-MAIN. Will it work ? Thanks
I’m not sure on the compatibility between the 2, might be worth looking at the connections ans see if they are the same, maybe some setting on one that the other does t have but should be easy to try out if you already have it. Good luck
I know this is a couple years later but all you have to do to fix that issue is replace a $12 relay, located in the upper right corner of the board. This is a common failure on earlier GLX-PCB-Pro boards. Remove the relay, clean the surface and solder in the new relay... apply a liquid plastic PCB sealer. That is the reason these relays fail because the old boards, they are not coated and the components are susceptible to moisture.
I watched your video's and changed out both main board and control panel. I input all my previous settings into the new control panel but I'm getting a "VSP Comm Rrror" Is there a Comm setting that needs to be changed so the control panel will communicate with control panel on the variable speed pump. All control buttons on the Box control panel work except when I push the pump button, nothing happens, then I receive the "VPS Comm Error" on the display window. Is there a Comm option in the configuration menu that allows to select a comm port so the board and pump communicate? What would that comm setting be?

No I have not! I am using the control panel key pad on the VSP to control my VPS daily run times/operation. I'm also using the main control panel inside box mounted on my house to control my boost pump time/operation. (Only way I can control boost pump operation). What I overlooked was a document that was included in my main mother board package that tells me to rewire the VSP to operate with new mother board and receive commands. Haywood has done a software update on the main mother board that requires this action to be taken or this error will happen. They also recommended that I update to a new version of this system, Screw that!! Provide customers with the mother boards so we don't have to upgrade just maintain what we purchased. I need to find a pool installer who can understand this document/rewire instruction, comply with the document so I can resume normal motherboard operation without using the control panel on my VSP.
Hey Boss, I was just changing out the GLX-PCB-PRO board today with a new one I purchased on e-Bay. Everything matched up except for some reason the new board did not have a stem for the grey wire from the transformer to connect to on the bottom right of the board. I am reluctant to power it on with the grey wire from the transformer not connected. Unless there was an updated design that no longer required the grey wire to be connected, I'm guessing this was a manufacturer defect. Any ideas?
