I guess Fabbreezy is the only unbiased judge. Like no way every single round was obvious here, Les Twins never giving a tie or a different vote and well Loose Joint is probably strict af on fundamentals even if you have a bigger impact.
I think loose joint only voted hisoka is that he got that old school bounce and groove which is the most basic hip hop move you must have

This is supposed to be a hiphop battle so the criteria should be strict and that includes the flow, bounce, foundation and etc. and I cannot see it from Rubix although he has the musicality and techniques but this is HIP-HOP battle. It looked more like an openstyle than hip-hop battle.

Honestly this battle was the finale for me cause it's basically the ultimate battle between the new which is all about musicality, beatkilling and athleteism/flexibility vs the old which is all about the traditional, the flow the groove the fundamentals.
Rubix was spontaneous, energetic and fiery like fire while Hisoka was flowy, chill and cold like water and ice. (which is also complimented by the lighting of the color that their side shines onto lol)

I saw Hisoka for the first time and his groove and technique is so good 🔥
Anyway, Rubix still won in my eyes. He was more creative, musicality on point, level changes and to be frank, I know what will be the other side arguments - this isn't hip-hop. I'm annoying with all of these old school fanbase who prevent to make a step forward and allow to dancers like Rubix to achieve a new level. To open a new window with their individual approach.
It's remind me of Les Twins, when everyone used to laugh at their "non- traditional hip hop style". Look at them now;)))

It's hard to judge this battle as it is a battle of like OG vs New School in a way. The OG style focusing more on fundamentals and groove and smooth and fluid transitions from one move into another whilst the new school is focused more on musicality and personifying the music itself and connecting to different layers in the music through the dance.
With this being said, I still think Rubix had the edge with overall performance, Hisoka started off strong but I feel he lost a bit of steam towards the end whilst Rubix killed every single round.
thats only because they bullshitted hisoka out of definitve wins to give rubix another shot...
Rubix doesnt even try to dance at times, instead he focuses on powermoves. that has nothing to do with the dance they're competing in.
Bro this new school “musicality“ is just beatkilling, thats one of the easiest forms of musicality because you sacrifice your Flow just to Hit certain patterns in the music. Old School on the other hand focuses on not hitting but dancing to different patterns in the Music while keeping up with the Rhythm of the Song without constantly interrupting your Flow. That what Hip Hop really is, Hisoka in terms of pure hip Hop and musicality Beats rubix.

To the untrained eye it looks all the same, but the more you know the more you see the little details. If you tell me Icee and Hisoka dance the way, imma assume you’re a hardcore Les Twins fan?

A great example of one of the best OG hip hop dancers is Alex the Cage but he has also some flashy moves in his arsenal but I don't know anyone who does that OG style better than him and he's won competitions beating many cats doing new school.

J'aime pas les Twins en juge. On sent clairement que leur vote est orienté. Même si ils n'ont qu'une voie, néanmoins elle fait pencher la balance surtout quand ils manquent d'objectivité. Même si il est vrai que Rubix méritait de gagner sur le dernier round mais sur les précédents c'était très serré

Totalement d’accord mais la même chose s’applique pour Loose Joint aussi là.
On sait très bien que les twins jugent sur la musicalité, et jsp si vous vous rendez compte des détails de la musique que rubix fait ressortir en dansant, en plus son style est plus varié (passage au sol, aérien etc) et plus ample...ya même pas moyen de me dire que les premiers rounds sont pas objectifs
@@slowedmichiko je trouve qu'en face y avait du répondant. Les deux se valaient sur la plupart des round. Et je trouve cette compétition assez bien jugé de façon général. Mais comme pour d'autres disciplines, on devrait mettre des juges qui n'ont aucune affinité ou lien avec les danseurs. Le fait que les Twins soient proches de Rubix peut nous faire douter de leur objectivité. Ça n'est que mon avis

I don't know about the friend part but Rubix and Les twins are on the same wavelength, a wavelength I don't particularly like. Judging is subjective, I would give R1 and R2 to Hisoka.

They're going with what they value in dance, thats really what all judges do. There is no set list of criteria for judging a hip hop battle. Everyone interprets music differently.
I don't dislike Rubix. But it's not fair to have these new generation active dancers who are connected to crews of competitors judging. Rubix always twisting himself. Like uhhh ok. With that said, go RUclips "Poudlard Event Hisoka" and see how incredible he is.
