Because of you... I was brave enough to tackle my saniflow...you totally rock... thank you so so so so so much
Thank you.
Mental note : Never unknowingly click on a dereton33 video when your tucking into your breakfast. Haha
Ha ha can put you off your breakfast.
Hi Al,
Thank you for the inspiring videos! We don't have a macerating toilet (WC), but your video was fun and informative to watch just the same. The first video I watched of yours was a video you did a few years back, installing an awning (I have one to install in the next day or two). I noticed at the end of this video that your awning is still up on your home!. Great to see! I hope it's given you years of trouble free use. Also, may good health allow you to make many more years of great videos helping all us plumber "wannabees" my friend. ~Chris (From the U.S.) 😊
Thanks Chris. Lovely comments, keep well.
Brilliant video as usual. Keep them coming
Thanks 👍
Man what a horrible job, I don’t have a macerator but if I ever had to sort out a blocked one, after your film I’m sure I could do it.
Thank you for the film/information, you are a brave man, respect, regards, Chris. 👍👍👍
Ha ha thanks Chris.
Fit a Bidet and do away with so much paper going into the Macerator, nothing quite as nice as walking around with a nice clean shiny bum, thanks Al another worthy Vid from our favourite plumber 😊 👍
Ha ha thanks Robin.
I read a funny story about macerators being the work of the Devil on the website DIY NOT. It’s worth looking up if you want a chuckle about these things. Great video as always Al.
Entitled “macerator toilet can they really be that bad!?”
I'll check it out!
I have one fitted in the loo in the downstairs utility with a BIG sign on the loo door, NO BROWN JOBS, it's worked for 3 years so far..........................................
Good advice
Hi Alan this is intresting as normally the toilet is bolted to the floor then a waste pipe takes the remains away it appears u have a disposable bucket thing but might have to look into one of these if landlord allows it. It’ looks much easier to maintain
Normally a toilet waste pipe goes out to a big soil pipe that carries the waste out to the sewer, but where that's not possible a macerator can be used which chops up the waste which then goes out via a smaller waste pipe connected to a sink.. but best not to put toilet paper down it, as seen it gets blocked..
Thanks Dave quite correct.
Hi Al, can you please tell me what a " Macerator is for " my toilet hasn't got one.
I'm guessing its like a sewage blender by looks of it lol
Lucky for you if you haven`t got one.
Nasty job Al 😬
Too right PB.
Didn't even know those loos existed.
Yes, macerators have been around a long time.
Had one in my last house which lasted 10 years. This one 18 months.
Definitely not before breakfast..
Ha ha I guess not.
@@dereton33 Take care. All the best to you both..
No thanks leave that to you to sort out .
Chicken, ha ha.
Run out of white paint on that skirting? 😂
Well spotted. Nothing escapes .
why have this macerator?
I thought toilets could flush in to the drain.
Can be a job when the drain is 30 ft away from the pan.
Do not touch a macerator if you have no previous experience
Very true.
