I finally gave in and watched this. these scenes were so sad especially for the little boy and he played his part perfectly. This young woman had had enough both emotionally and physically. The attempts at poisoning her were bad enough. It got ridiculous in the end. Her insides must have been severely damaged. Bullying with in a royal court has always been there and I live in England and understand the inner workings. My history is littered with bad kings and fabulous queens palace courtiers who caused trouble spread gossip and lies. This ML was pathetic he fell hook line and sinker for this woman and all he did was hurt her and betray her that's not love that's obsession to the point of madness. She went to her beloved father who loved her unconditionally. She achieved peace the only way she knew how.
The MIL and that scheming chick need to be sent to the cold palace for the rest of their unnatural lives, and that son of the scheming chick should be stripped of his title and shouldn't be heir. They should be flogged as well. They damn well know what they were doing when they humiliated, bullying, and punished her. Hubby is a joke. This is his fault.
@pengdubit my thoughts exactly. Hubby needs to point the finger at them and at him. Obviously, we know who's running this insane asylum. Get Meili's kid out of there NOW and send him to Empress Dowager! She seems to have a clue.
