I love following your page. This summer I made a spurr-of-the-moment decision and donated my hair for cancer patients. As a breast cancer survivor, I don't regret the decision at all but I'll looking forward to my hair being a bit longer. Right now I can only put it on a pony tail. I love your hairstyles. Love how this works for guys as well!! After a little bit of struggling, I managed to make a damn good messy bun! Hair's quite a bit longer and thicker than Yours so I'm ecstatic to have found a style I can actually do!

For the bun I left a little hair out to wrap around before putting the part on my hand over, it made it feel more secure. My hair is the same length as yours. Thank you so much for these hairstyles 😊

These are all great, and they all work in my hair, which is coarse and typically not very bendy (things like messy buns never work for me). The bun is called a Nautilus Bun and yes it takes some considerable length, I’m at almost waist length and can’t quite get there. If your hair is thinner or shorter you can try it over a couple of fingers instead of the whole hand - also a hair stick makes it pretty secure.

These are so neat! I don’t know if my hair is too short or too smooth, but with the braids they untie themselves as I work my way down.

Super late to the game here, but as someone with longer than hip length hair, that bun is a game changer. After only 2 attempts it's super secure, doesn't feel heavy, and it's cuter than anything I could do without intentional styling ❤

Tip: at least for me, the bun works better when done on top of my head. Even if you don't have insanely long hair, there will be some hairs that can reach around the bun at the top of your hair, whereas at the back of the head i can't make it work. When your hair reaches around the bun, it works like a hairtie and doesn't unravel. It also stays better when it's sitting on top of your head and not hanging behind 😊

I love these ideas. Very clever.
I love all hairstyles and will be trying them all. The last hairstyle, I do that one all the time, it's called the Nautilus Bun. You can do different versions, like putting your hand above the hair you hold instead of under and wrapping it around, or twisting it a bit before looping it and wrapping it around the hair you are holding. You can put a Chinese hair stick through it also, but you have to weave it above the hair that has been looped and put over the wrapped around hair and it holds it in place. My hair is long enough to achieve without a hair stick and I use the Nautilus bun as a top not too, but works only on long hair and I use it as a shower bun and release when washing my hair. But all hairstyles are awesome. Love them. Thank you so much for sharing. Your channel is like a goodie bag full of wonderful surprises. Love it. ❤️💜💜😻

Went in a sauna and realized I forgot a hair tie! Took a couple tries but the bun worked! Doesn't feel super secure but bet I could get it perfect with a little practice! (My hair is pretty thick and almost down to my waist so took a little bit to get the loop around the bun thing)

Thanks for the quick tutorial. I either have a wealth of hair ties, or they all go m.i.a. But my hair is quite long and thick hair and usually these type of styles wont hold but the bun style works great! I can get it to sit higher off my neck and somehow feels less heavy. I live on the southeast coast of nc where it gets very humid and hot so I'll be using this trick often. Thanks again!

I have pretty thick hair, so I don't think the ponytail would be effective, but I nailed the braid!

Hair has a growing stage between 1-7 years, your hair obviously has a short growing stage hence why it only grows so long then stops...
The pulling out the hair part is always so odd to me. If I am going to do a hairdo I want all my hair out of my face.
