great comparison!!! I was set on the dell chromebook but now i'm not sure. The rugged design of the Dell is appealing as i bike around and want to be able to throw it in my backpack! The dell's speakers are a plus too. but I'm going to be doing hours of reading, writing and research on this thing and the sharper screen of the Samsung will probably be a lot better on the eyes!!!
These have basically the same keyboard but the Dell touchpad has a slightly rubbery surface and it's not easy to operate, it's sometimes too touchy especially when selecting text. The Dell speakers also are not good sounding, loud but not clear sounding. Charger connects on the side with a big plug. Mate screen on both
The Dell looks like it would take rougher handling , but I've seen the Samsung demoed by dropping it off a desk. The Dell sounds louder and bassier, but speech through the Samsung was actually easier to undrrstand. I'd like to hear a side by side comparison using Bluetooth speakers and wired ones, which is what I'd use for a large group presentation. it

I have both the Dell can take a beating i put it thought Hell and it keep on working my samsung not so much you have to be careful with it or the screen will break.BUT I LIKE THE SAMSUNG 3 more because you can download apps on it YOU CAN NOT on the DELL thats DELLs only down fall in my book.

The general consensus I'm getting is that if you're doing anything more than homework, and simple internet use, Chromebook isn't the one for you
