Well Michael Jordan does own a basketball team. He would be under a microscope while doing interviews for the NBA. Tampering is a big deal with coaches and owners and its crazy how Doc Rivers was even fined 50K just for comparing Kawhi to Michael Jordan. As of September of 2019 the new rules are tampering fines can be as much as 10 million dollars. So when MJ was asked if Steph Curry was a Hall of famer? The answer he gave was correct, not right now he's not. So there is a reason MJ doesn't interview and showup on NBA shows. One wrong comment and he is hit with tampering just for praising a player in the NBA.
