I’ve had blue hair and I love it
I used to live on an estate, but before, I lived in a very upper-middle-class area. The middle-class area was weird, everyone judged you, and no one offered help when it looked like you were struggling. The estate was the complete opposite: free BBQs, offers of free lifts if you were heading in the same area, community support, and free pet-sitting, sure, they were Karens who had their nose in everyone's business, but they used it to make sure that everyone was okay and taken care of. I became close friends with my neighbour over the time that I lived there, and we were both gutted the day I left (she gave me a lift to the station when my fiance (partner of nine years) split from me). In the car ride over she said: "You know, when you first moved here, I thought you were this snobby, posh, arsehole who was going to ignore us, and I am so sorry for thinking that. Turns out, we both want different things in life, and you will talk to anyone... way too much, but at least you treat us like people." She got into everyone's business and shouts at people who cause trouble, but fuck me, she is one of the good ones.

We have a Karen neighbour, who breaks her neck to come out and tell us we can't park, infront of our house, because it's a council house, and she owns hers so her and her 30 kids should have it! She has 4 cars and a drive that will take at least 3 cars, yet insists on never parking on her drive because she'd rather park in front of "a council house" 😂

Story about my neighbour Karen. So, we live in Canada in the country about 15 min away from the small town of Perth. Our house is in a forest of mostly pine trees that are absolutely massive. My family and I appreciated these trees because they shielded us from our neighbours and gave us a nice sense of privacy. However, when derecho struck, a bunch of the trees came down and we were so lucky none came down on the house or in the horse field. Our neighbours were not so lucky; nothing hit the house but the pool deck was ruined, the hot tub flew away and a tree landed on their tractor. A bunch of the trees that were on our property were bent from the wind and leaning over their house. My father immediately called the tree removers and they came a few days later and pulled all the trees, plus a few that could be hazardous if another storm hit. My neighbour’s wife (the Karen) was so mad at my father for removing the trees, that she legitimately left and went on ‘vacation’ because of how upsetting this was. So flash forward to about a month ago and my father is out with his chainsaw and the tractor, still cleaning up the mess when Karen tells him she doesn’t like where he put the log pile. I went out to give my father fresh water and a granola bar and he tells me this and I’m dumbfounded. The conversation went like this
Dad: “Crazy (initial (his nickname for her)) wants me to move that wood pile because she doesn’t like where it’s placed.”
Me: “…you mean, the wood pile that is on our property?”
Dad: “Yes.”
Me: “You’re kidding me. Are you going to do it?”
So my father being a good person and also because Karen’s husband is kind and wonderful man he moved the woodpile… about five feet to the right. Hence concludes the life of crazy and petty Canadians.
My family lives near Perth, I hope it wasn’t one of them 😂

He has his own yt channel, idk what it's called but he is a journalist exercising his constitutional rights. The people in his videos always call the cops on him but they can't do anything because it's part of his rights to record a PUBLIC building
@Zenroles idk if you're American but here we have every right to record in public spaces. The woman is a Karen because she's demanding a permit when he doesn't need one to record there. Also, she's a public servant so she's required to provide her name and position when it's requested by a citizen. So yeah, she's a Karen
The town my parents live in had a youtuber that was recording the high schoolers, he threw a mass fit when the school security guards asked why he was recording the kids and told him he couldn't come on the school grounds. He tried the exact same "public spaces" routine. He made a big stink and people found his channel about him showing people how to get around security in public buildings. Last I heard about it the parents of the recorded kids took it to court since he had recorded then publically posted their kids faces and where/when they are moving around the school campus

My Karen experiences at work: 1. I'm young but I'm able to legally work, my height also makes me look younger than I am. I was doing what I needed to do for the day when this lady came up and asked quite rudly if I was old enough to be working I said yes I'm 'insert age' it's legal for me to be working but she didn't believe me so she just started yelling and such so that was fun- 2. I wasn't at my workplace at the time but there was this Karen who got all angry and started yelling and actually made our cashier that day cry.

So believe it or not, the guy in the government building is what's known as an "auditor". His channel is Long Island Audit and... for that particular video he was wrongfully arrested and sued it and won. Here in America, recording in ANY building that is funded by the people, and not the government, is 100% allowed and with no questions asked. Post offices, courthouses, etc...

Right so like the last one and what daz was saying about his situation my dad has had something similar happen to him so he lived in a block of flats and there isn’t any designated parking but one time he went away for a few nights and parked where he doesn’t usually and someone phoned him knowing he was away to get him to come back and move his car because it was “their” spot
