The salt brings out the actual flavor of the pasta itself, and if you don’t salt it enough (the water just needs to look brainy or taste like seawater) no matter how much salt you add or how much sauce it’s not gonna have any flavor😩

Yes! The sugar helps to balance the acidity of the tomatoes! I use that when I make my grandfather's Maltese pasta dish (along with worcestershire sauce and mild curry powder).
my sister taught me something interesting use carrots to cut down the acidity of tomato's I used sugar before she mentioned carrots i used to make it to sweet with the sugar i just chop the carrots up and put them in there that's if you want carrots in your pasta you can always chop them up tiny or make a sofrito which is another thing she taught me sofrito consists of garlic, onion and peppers, and carrots i read it also has tomato's though the last time cause i didn't have everything on hand i just used garlic onions and carrots to make the sofrito she said blend it then sauté in olive oil on low heat for 10 minutes and then put in your sauce.
I recommend wooden chopping boards although they are more expensive plastic can still (even if you wash it) trap stuff in it also microplastics can get into your food. Loved the vid and will definitely use these recipes as it looks wonderful

I love cooking I do it at college and out of all the recipes I’ve seen for spaghetti and meatballs this is one of the most simplest best looking recipes I’ve ever seen i’m gonna make this myself because it looks that good Can’t wait to see more cooking videos from you guys.
I have trouble staying engaged in videos, but watching these guys cook properly kept my attention the entire time. Seeing them get so excited about the food was so fun to watch
12:19 if you are needing crushed garlic or not too fussy about what the garlic looks like, you can use the blade of the knife pressed down against the garlic and kinda give it a thump to help get the skin off. (Sorry hard to describe that action lol) or you can use your hands and roll it back and forth on a chopping board.
The only thing I do differently, when making mine is mix the meats, before adding the other ingredients to make it easier to ensure you don't get a mostly beef or sausage ball but if it's mixed properly after all ingredients are added, it makes no difference..... Great video, fantastic to fix the f up that lady made... And I agree it's truly simple to make it correctly and it's not very expensive because it makes a huge amount..... Freezing the balls you don't want to eat straight away makes it super fast to make a nutritious, home cooked meal on busy days, instead of reaching for a takeaway menu.... Its just as quick to cook from scratch as it is to order food and wait for the delivery. We'll done guys, it's truly a fabulous thing to be a male role model that cooks, and cooks brilliantly..... So many young men don't have that type of example, in their own homes ❤❤❤

i loved to see this side of the cooking challenge it was so fun to watch you guys enjoy cooking. i had an idea while watching this video again for if you guys wanna turn this series into a challenge, you could put numbers on a wheel and each spin and the number it lands on is the number of items you can add or take away from the original recipe and whoever makes the dish taste better gets an extra spin next round or they can save it for another future round. once again i love you guys and the videos you make
Kay also has a problem where she cooks everything at high heat to cook it as fast as possible, and whilst she's looking to add other ingredients she leaves everything still cooking in the pan so it cremates.
Love this and I liked when Will said about making another meal with some of the ingredients! What I do is do a double batch of bolognese, do spaghetti first night and do a lasagne the next night! Really really tasty! I do what Will does too and do both beef and pork (usually a decent sausage that has seasoning in it)

I don't cut onions like that either 4:07, from working in a professional restaurant for when do sauces, meatballs ect... Slice the onion in half an separate all the layers press them flat an slice into tissue paper thin strips, lay them all next to each other then very finely dice them that thin it's like a paste, that way they dissolve in the meatballs or sauce. An with breadcrumbs add a small amount of milk and made a panade it stops the muscle fibers in the meat from constricting and becoming firm makes them so much more tender. And for people that struggle to measure a portion of spaghetti the hole in the middle of a spaghetti spoon is there to measure a single portion.

I use the knife to squash the cloves of garlic, place the knife sideways on top and use your hand to press down, easier to separate the skin this way
