Sometimes you just need an easy wear and the EDP does the job especially in a workplace. It’s completely inoffensive. Ultime is my fav in the line though👌
I, also received the OG at launch as a gift from my mother. And just as you said, it served as a signature for that time and brings back lovely memories. I have no desire to try the EDP. I have the gingembre, and that with the original is enough for me. Thanks again, Marc.
That rotating tower of L'hommes was a neat effect. 😄 Shame they didn't bring back the freshies in the line. Pretty much gave up on it a while ago. The OG and La Nuit are still the stand outs for me. Ultime, Gingembre and Frozen also decent. But even if they tried to come out with an Oud, Elixir or smoky flanker, it's just too little too late. Iconic bottle shape, dragged out dna. Expectations offically in the ditch. 🕳
haha the tower of L'homme. The fresh side of l'homme is what makes it great imo, making it fresher just works imo. La Nuit should remain dark as well and I think that DNA with a smoky take would win.
Cheers Marc , I only have scent memories of the OG,but I do have the Parfum version, blackish blue bottle and black cap ,and to me it does pay a mature homage to the OG and all its popular notes and people pleasing connotations but with the blue fragrance vibe.I do get positive attention from my female work colleagues on the way this plays out during my work day, however they didn’t want a spritz as the all hold the same opinion,it’s a full on male scent and a very good one.I feel you will most probably find this one a great addition to your collection and a wonderful wearing experience. Cheers Marc appreciate the review but I will probably just run with my Parfum flanker ✌️🙏👍
Thanks for this one! Wish you would do a review on Dior Homme Sport 2021..gets dismissed easily because of the acidic citrus opening, but the way it develops on skin and dries down is absolute major league. I dismissed it at first but I am addicted to it now, such an underrated (last) Demachy banger.
I never really caught on to the Dior Homme line reformulations, the original line was so great, I hate to think otherwise of the line. May give it a sniff now that you mention it.
I feel you, DH2020 is nice but nothing really special but the DHS2021 is a booming monster especially with high heat + body movement. Pretty sure you won‘t be dissapointed, but give it some time if you ever try it out, it will grow on you. Have a good new year‘s eve!
Shish To Me It's Been A Very Very Long Time Wearing La Nuit de l'Homme Yves Saint Laurent, Still Have Half Of A Bottle Somewhere ( Just Cleaned The Dust Off It And Now SOTD, Oh The Memories ) This I Wore In My 20's And Went Through Bottles. I'll Eventually Head Out To See If The Newer Bottle Smells Like What I Have.
I love L’homme and La Nuit de L’homme, but it’s true that projection and longevity are very poor. Have a small sample of this one and ended up pulling the trigger on a 2 ounce bottle. I feel like this line is great for wearing at home or just anytime when you want to smell good without capturing too much attention.
You have a job where no dress code is enforced, as a matter of fact there’s a tacit agreement on wearing hoodies and sneakers and a simple button down shirt is a little bit too formal in that environment, let alone wearing an expensive or too mature fragrance that sets you apart from the numbing uniformity of an overly casual and juvenile workplace. Even if you’re past your 40s. A place where wearing a tie would meet a smirk or two. That’s the place where a spray or two (max) of L’Homme (any flanker) will do it safely.

You do need one or two of these in the collection. I do agree with that.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I like this fragrance and I give it a 9 out of 10 in my opinion and have a blessed day
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Marc for the review, me sticking with the OG seems to still be the right move.
Good choice

I feel like you have the 2 best of the line. That gingembre is a solid one.
Always exciting to watch. Keep up with good work.
Thanks 👍
Never tried the OG only La Nuit, like it a lot, this one 😬 not willing to spend precious cash on designers. Thanks for the Unboxing Marc!!!
No problem Carlos, the OG La Nuit was great.

It would be awesome if you would do a review of the 2020 Dior Homme, Intense and Sport. Please Marc.😊@@robes08

It would be interesting to see how different it is. I haven't smelled the new La Nuit DNA.

Well, we all know that L’homme/La Nuit de L’homme Elixir is coming next.
I could definitely see Y Elixir!
haha it's coming.
Smells like the original L’homme with a crapload of amberwood added to make it “stronger”.
makes sense, it does not have that ginger zing tho

You summed the wearing of this line up perfectly.
Nice opening. Then just lame!
interesting take, thanks for sharing. We will see if I get the same thought as you.
