Excellent video and details! I couldn't find a video that highlighted the allen wrench hole to keep the tension loose. The explanation on the arrow and notches was also nice.
Non sperpentine belt are you talking about the timing belt? If yes, that is different and more work to get to it. The timing belt is more critial and must be replaced after a certain distance.
