Mine does as well the pulls only raps around the alternator I think he believes that the bolt and part that you can lossesn to move the alternator back and forth are what tightens it but he is wrong it does tighten it just a bit because you are pushing away the alternator and it make the belt tighter but you have to lossen the bolt that's in the video to actually lossen or tighten the belt
Don’t recall a “no A/C” option when I bought my 2007 Fit, which definitely does not have belt tensioner. However, I see two unused bolts on my where a tensioner could mount. You learn something new every day 😁

My 2007 Fit tightens with the alternator. There's no Tensioner on it. 07-08 doesn't use a Tensioner.
Yeah I think u just need to change the idler pulley only

07-08 doesn't use a tensioner like that, the alternator tensions the belt.
Wrong. It depends on if you have AC or not amongst other things. Mine is identical to the video.

I think the 07-08 in the US were different from what other countries got, we have GD3. The US didn't get the second gen until 09 model.
My 2007 Honda Fit Sport has a manual tension adjust only, no tensioner pulley

Ugh I can’t for the life of me get the belt on. As I rotate it keeps pulling the pulley off the tensioner
