Thank you for the great tutorial series. About the inverted pedal problem: I took a note and there will be an "invert" option in the next version of Mightier Amp :)
Thank-you, I am so happy you like the series. According to my research there are some pedals that work correctly but the main part are inverted. Some users rewired the pedal to solve this, an option within the app would be awesome 👍😁
Dear friend Tuntori already developed iOS version but Apple store limitations do not allow making it available. Please check his GitHub site for the topic
What a great series! Unfortunately my Chocolate foot-switch doesn't recognise the M-Audio expression pedal. While the expression pedal appears to be working normally (multimeter shows resistance changing as the pedal moves) no MIDI information is passed through the Chocolate. The four foot-switches work so the Chocolate is still very useful - just no expression.
According to my findings this is often happening with some specific recent editions of M-vave firmware. Many users report expression pedal stopped working after M-vave firmware update. If your pedal is exactly what I tested you could be in that situation. If that is the case maybe updating the firmware again could make you lucky but it is a very thin hope. Sorry
@@TutoJam Thanks for quick reply. I now have the expression pedal working. Using the Android Cubesuite app I added 127 to the step-on value of the pedal - explained in this video: ruclips.net/video/T54HeiZNOuE/видео.html On the Mighty Plug Pro... the Parameter Hotkeys are incorrect. Comp parameter = Gate; EFX parameter = Comp etc. I suspect on further investigation Hotkey Parameters 1-9 will be 1-9 on the signal chain. This will restrict the patch flexibility ...as the MPP has ability to move around the signal chain but the expression will continue to stay assigned to one fixed position.
@@Rob-pb4ww Thanks for the info. I'm aware of the parameters controlling wrong effects in Mighty Plug Pro. Unfortunately I don't have any controllers so I'm developing this module in the dark. I missed the fact that for the Pro, the fx chain can be rearranged but I'll address this in the next update.
@@tuntori In the meantime I've adjusted my FX chain to be triggered by the assigned Chocolate MIDI switches. Plus the expression pedal is easily corrected by swapping the "loosen" & "step on" parameters in the Cubesuite app. Love the enhanced capabilities provided by the Mightier Amp. Thanks for the amazing app 😀! Looking forward to the next update. 👍
If you keep it on default it should take CC 1, if using it with Mightier Amp anyone will work. If you prefer you can assign a different one to follow midi standards (for example 11 for volume) but not really necessary
@@TutoJam i'm trying to do this, but has two fields to config the pedal: step-down and step up. I tried 0-127, it recognize on Mightier Amp app midi config, but doesn't work on assigned parameter. Do you have any idea how can I fix it?
Hey friend any progress on invented pedal issue? Im using expression pedal from another brand and is inverted too even if im using like bias fx or amplitube or guitar rig.
Hi dear, the good news is the issue has been fixed months ago. You have even 2 options: 1) install last version of cubesuite app, it allows to set the pedal as 127-0 instead of 0-127, so it works inverted. 2) from version 0.9.8 the app Mightier Amp allows to tick a flag "inverted" to any analog parameter, this is even simpler. ruclips.net/video/WTwgQa75DZE/видео.htmlsi=Kon7EXC1ag14Hkd5
Well, the analogic signal from the pedal is converted to digital by an adc, to do so it is read with a certain frequency so if you move really quick it will always skip some values. In my standard use I am quite "soft" in its use so I am not noticing that as an issue but it can definitely happen
@@TutoJam if i heel toe mine fast. It goes from 0 to 127 with no values in between. And with normal use it feels very discretely stepped. All effects sounds jumpy and not smooth like analog wah for example.
@backdrift5612 Just another check. If you move it very slowly (use your hand) does it shows 0 when you are totally on one side and 127 when you are totally on the other end? If it happens earlier on either side then you need to fix your pedal calibration (usually there is a knob to set how fast the pedal reacts). If it is calibrated with too high sensitivity it becomes a sort of on/off switch
@@TutoJam the range is fine. If i move slow it is fine. But with normal use the steps are big. My wah sounds robotic like its low resolution. I guess its the chocolate midi that is not reading the input often enough.
@backdrift5612 it may be, with volume I was quite happy. Hey, wait a minute, you said you are using for wah but with what device? I mean Nux Mighty do not support wah....

Right, Apple can be a pain for certain things. 🙄
@tuntori Can u make the air software a little more like the space?

Would you mind sharing a brief video of your screen? Or some pictures. I am not sure I understand what you are trying. Sorry

Esto es compatible en dispositivo mighty mp2?
Yep. Mp2 is identical to mighty air in functionalities apart having built in speaker
Could it be used with the mighty plug?
Yes it can. You can use it with any device supported in Mightier Amp and now both Android and iOS versions are available.
